Luckily this was dubed in spanish in LA back in the mid 80's (so I was able to enjoy it in my native language). This is one of the best animes I've ever seen, since the episodes stories are not the same formula repeated over and over again, such as in Sailor Moon or Saint Seiya... So, you'll have a lot of suspense from episode to episode. I love the different personalities of the sisters and how they blend together. PLUS, their ages go from 16 to +30... so that breaks the stereotypical animé ages of the characters that usually are teenagers or kids (Even if they look like adults). Toshi and Asatani (as well as the chief) are so funny togheter, since they also have that chemistry as a trio opposite to the Kisugi sisters... XOXO
The entirety of S2 is anime original with a crappy ending which was my biggest problem. The 2nd half of the manga is more of a slice of life with occasional Cat's Eye missions. The anime also omitted several members of the main cast and mainly focused on the sisters, Toshio, Asatani and the chief.
Personally I'm glad of that. The manga second half sounds lame as heck. Give me the anime version any day. I'm also glad the anime left out the dead-weight and focused on the characters that matter.
I feel like this is a very underrated anime. There is actually a petition to get this and many other retro anime to get English dubs. Great video btw.

I did see that Discotek is releasing the first season on Blu-ray, though I believe it’s English subs only.

I would recommend Hojo's follow up series which was adapted by Sunrise City Hunter.
