- Gold per hour numbers are generally pretty cringe since you're incentivized to say things like "50 gold per hour in Season of Discovery With This One Weird Trick!!!!111" but really this is probably like 15 to 25 gold an hour. Or something, I dunno. It's good though.
Note: Warriors will NOT love you, they will hate you for putting these up for rip-off prices when the patch goes live. Honestly, the plan might be to just skip it (If you level your warrior first as I will) and rush through to getting Bone BIter which you get as a reward just for clearing SM (alliance anyway) or getting Ravager. Yeah you need to wait till 37 but I'm not sure getting the WW axe will be worth the agony, STV will be an absolute warzone and I have no doubt the WW quest mob will be camped by griefers or opposite faction warriors who are idiots and will kill you on the quest, then say "WTF!?" when you do the same to them in return.
For warriors, if you did want to get the WW weapon I'd recommend checking the AH regularly from now until launch and try and pick 'em up early. Probably saves a lot of gold vs buying them on patch day.
For enemy faction stopping you do the quest, it may well be true on PVP servers, but on PVP servers isn't that just true of every quest unless you're well ahead of the curve? In fact, I'd expect cyclonian to be a pretty safe place to be since it's so out of the way that the gankers would have to really make a special trip vs somewhere like shimmering flats where they'd just be anyway.
STV being a warzone though, yeah that's def gonna be a thing. Personally I'm doing a (very sweaty) 25-29 turnin route so I can do shimmering and early STV before anyone else is high enough level to muck with me.
Is Hawk Eyeneeded for the Thundering farm? seems very difficult to time a shot and run away before they cast lightning bolts at me
Can def just use cheetah if needed, just make sure you never get so close they shock you with the instant attack. I killed the first few with cheetah then switched to hawk when I started being more aggressive with trading damage.
Other things that can help but are not needed are having the blackfathom boon world buff and having the increased range from marksman talents.

Unclear, I've been selling them for a little over 2g each ATM, I'd expect probably faction AH is better since both factions can farm them (and most people won't bother to check neutral when getting them)
There may be big gold on launch day but do remember the prices will crash hard once people are 40 and every class can farm them easily
TBH assuming your server is like mine it's such good gold/hr right now I'd just take the guaranteed win

Yeah I must agree, it makes no sense that we get almost no penalty for shooting stuff where spells and melee attacks are virtually useless.
I'm not gonna complain too hard though while it's to my benefit :D
Incidentally I solo'd the 50 elite in STV that drops the monogrammed sash 'cause it starts a quest for some bonus exp. It doesn't work because any 41+ mobs don't drop any loot at all currently, but I was amazed just how easy it was to kill a 50 elite at 25!

I also have a bunch that aren't always useful, like wago.io/AvoidLavaDamage/2 is super good in endgame (allows you to time jumping in lava to not take damage, e.g., in blackrock mountain or Molten Core)

It's nice for farming and PVP and good enough for raids. I switch between kill command and flanking dep on whether I'm fighting something I can melee weave against and in raids I switch between explosive shot on trash and chimera shot on bosses.

Sure can! You don't need to kill Cyclonian to get and sell the charms as a hunter, just the warrior needs to do it to get the Whirlwind Axe at the end. I've found some old footage of me soloing him on my hardcore warrior so I'll make that in the next few days :)

Brother the only way it works is by picking sellers that will trade you in person. You should also trade them items so they just aren't giving you gold. It's basically impossible to get caught that way
