Something I forgot to specifically mention was the ALICE compass pouch, it was used as a compass and medical pouch. It was an evolution of the M1967 and M1956 style compass pouches.

The LBV was not worn by the Rangers, but in country support units, such as 10th Mtn Div, may have been using them.
