I've placed an order for the S24 Ultra 512GB, marking my first Samsung device since the S7 Edge in 2015. After that, my journey included the Huawei P8, Nexus 6P, OnePlus 5, 7 Pro, and the OnePlus 9 Pro, which remarkably kept its original screen protector for four years, becoming my longest-used smartphone. My time with OnePlus recently concluded due to their ban in Germany, a result of a patent conflict with Nokia. I also briefly switched to the Pixel 8 Pro but returned it due to unsatisfactory battery life. After nearly nine years, I am eagerly anticipating my return to Samsung.
Additionally, I tried the iPhone 12 Pro Max for two weeks but confirmed that I am not an iOS enthusiast.
I truly appreciate the freedom that Android offers.

In my opinion, if I decide to upgrade my phone, I would definitely go for the S24ULTRA. It's an amazing device with great and useful features. Although iPhone has better video quality, Samsung is now closer and I hope they beat iPhone in the video department in the future. As an editor, no matter how good the video quality of iPhone is, I still need to edit it before uploading it on social media. Therefore, I don't mind if Samsung has not the best video quality because I love photography and Samsung provides many useful features in the camera and Samsung clicks better photos than iPhone . I am planning to upgrade to Samsung soon. Nice review! 👍

Can you tell me if your black coat in this photo comparison is truer on the S24 or iPhone 15?
I feel like the true representation is the S24 based on a closer inspection on your shoulder on the right side of your face (not the shoulder strap side)
If you look, it's definitely looking like S24 is picking up minor colour changes whereas the 15-Max is putting darkish colours over the greyish strands of the jacket (trying to explain it as best I can)
I'm also curious about the GREY being more pronounced in the one shot too. I'm curious if you can take more pictures in different ways like light settings or zoom.
I kinda wonder if like with taking photos in space and inserting colour changes based on rays or spectrum is if the iPhone is using it's facial recognition to enhance the quality but also negatively affects certain colours like black
I would love to testing going forward as 1x 2x 3x etc going forward in comparison. Including the photo details for us so we know if we have a S24 it's better to use "these" zooms in "these" situations.
What I mean is S23 is great in DAY at 1x to 10x however iPhone is better or the same only at 1x-2.9x then 5x-9.9x or whatever it is.
A summary page of the collection of each would be WAY BETTER and HELPFUL imo then just straight up shots. Consistency in taking these shots between ALL BRANDS and all MODELS would be greatly appreciated
I know it's asking a lot but if you could completely compare 5 generations of each BRAND it would be awesome. If you cannot do 5 maybe 4or3? Personally I don't think most of us do year over year upgrades. A good chunk might be every two years but now that cellular carriers are forcing 3 year payment plans this might now change to every three instead of two (T-Mobile is the only major carrier in the US offering a two year finance plus the manufacturer)

I always watch these Samsung/Android phone releases, then I go and buy iPhone. Having used iPhones since the 3gS model, I just don’t feel like switching. I’ve tried everything else, even Blackberry phones when they were around, but always come back to iPhone. Plus everyone in the family uses iMessage and FaceTime. Plus I use a MacBook and iPad and have also bought movies on Apple TV.
I totally understand though when someone buys Samsung/Android, they have their pros but I just don’t use any of those pros. Everything just works smoothly and securely for me on iPhone, so for now I don’t see myself changing platforms. Maybe with the next models update next year, I’ll see. Haha!

I am a Samsung Knight. However in terms of upgrade It's an incremental upgrade . Better AOD, Flat screen , 2600 nits, snapdragon gen 3. As an owner of the s23 Ultra, I'll wait for the z fold 6 and hope they use the best prototype designs and give it 100% to be as good or better than the Huawei mate x5 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition as first large foldable w integrated s pen. This upgrade is only for those who have the s22 or s21 or older , if you have the s23 ultra I recommend waiting one more year.
With that being said android offers more value like multi tasking , stylus pen w gestures, foldable innovation, advanced emulation no limitations etc. This is exactly why Samsung, Google, Huawei and Xiaomi , One plus and Red Magic and the entire android family will always be lightyears ahead of ios and why I will never return my main sim to ios ever again.

@@tuckerhiggins4336 but for me i see value in the new features. For the anti glare alone i would upgrade. Due to how often i shoot and operate the phone outdoors here in hawaii. Very bright and sunny all the time. Then there is camera upgrades although small...very impactfull upgrades. Then the titanium body is also a big upgrade with the harder glass. This is actually not incremental. Just cause it looks nearly the same. When you add up all the changes this is a pretty big upgrade. Gen 3. To gorrilla armor, with the anti-glare along with the brightness boost is actually a big upgrade. Lets say they didnt boost the nits and kept it the same. The fact that it has some anti-glare would mean the screen woulf be way easier to see in daylight already then they still added more brightness. I think the 3x to 5x is better than the 3x to 10x. Cuz the steps is more smoother now. There is a lot here. Some of it is just physical but its not any less important. Should be way way harder to bust the screen now. Most people have some kind of case on the phone but lots of it is just a thin rubber skin cuz some people dont like that thick "otterbox" type of cases cause it makes the phone too big. But how with titanium frame you really dont need an otterbox to have that level of protection since the body is more durable

Bruh.. you literally can set many ways to capture screenshots using iphone…you can use action button, press power button and lower volume button together, set up double back tap , use assistive touch button to select screenshots function or you can set the double tab the button or hold it for that function.

Please don't get me wrong, but I don't think you've really got to grips with the iPhone. You can move any app anywhere, you can change the appearance of the apps and you have X number of ways to take screenshots. And you can achieve incredible things with the commands.
The excuse that the OS limits you in terms of personalisation has been dead since iOS 17 at the latest.
Just buy a Samsung if you're so convinced. The differences are marginal.

Promising 7 years of updates for specific models only. The thing I hate about android phones that aren’t Google Pixels is that you’re taking a wild shot in the dark about whether or not your phone will get an update, you’re still relying on your carrier. I’ve bought phones directly from Samsung and used them on Google Fi, I still had to find an old AT&T SIM card to put in my phone to download android updates.

end of 2025 samsungs cloud AI search should have two options , a small premium fee like a few quid a month, or splash screen adverts before u get to see the result, i know AI on the cloud is very expensive but a middle ground of choice would be nice for the end user

That ad thing is complicated to implement for them as they are using Google's ML Gemini and their cloud services so Google might charge things from them that's why some of these features will be not free.
And it's hard to estimate the cost of running ads and average cost of cloud services.
Plus users will bash Samsung and ads in a premium phone look ugly.
      So not possible...

It feels so amazing having a Galaxy again. I’ve always bought Samsung Galaxy phones in the past but recently i decided to try out Apple. First apple device was the IPhone 13, which was ok but nothing special, then I traded for the 14 Pro Max, very problematic, so after dealing with constant issues of the 14 pro max, and 4 replacement devices that seem to perform worse than the previous phone it replaced, I traded for a 15 Pro Max. My new 15 Pro Max came out the box with a glitch in the screen plus overheating issues, I gave Apple back there device and literally ran back to Samsung. I never had issues with my past Samsung devices.
