My wife and I just had to drive from our vacations in Myrtle Beach back to where we live here in PA and the whole drive I had my iPod on all radiohead's albums....a 10 hour drive and we were in complete bliss.
EXACTLY what happened to me. I've been a huge radiohead fan for a long time, but this song got under my skin. A few days later, I found myself singing "Come on and let it outttttttt" over and over.
Thom has been quoted to say that In Rainbows is an album about "the fucking panic of realizing that your going to die one day." I think the whole album is about struggling with that depressing fact, and in the end of the album on "Videotape" finally giving in to death. "Jigsaw Falling Into Place" to me is a song about going out and trying to enjoy yourself, but death is always looming over you. "Wish away the nightmare, you can feel it on your back" those lines at the end reveal the meaning.
AHHH this song is perfect to dance to! Has one of those vibes. :) also, and maybe I'm dumb for not noticing before, but the way the song titles are positioned, it forms the shape of their bear logo. Coolness
love 2:54 to the end. Man that is where the song really gets going! When i first heard this song i felt that end section could easliy go on for longer without being boring. Now i love it how it is.
The first time I heard this album was also the first time I have ever tripped (lsd). This will forever be my acid album, more specifically this will forever be my acid song.
@wantsomecake328 alright you like arcade fire! awesome. yeah we can both agree this albumn is amazing. what album would you recommend next for me, out of 1) hail to the theif 2) amnesiac 3) The King of Limbs I havent heard any of those. recommendations of which one to get next? cheers.
i dont understand , how computerised, non talented, shitty artists get 10million plus views, yet the talent goes unnoticed by a majority of people, big love for this song , wish it had millions of views
Not my favorite on the record until I gave it a thorough listen. Then it became a weird litany in my mind, repeating over and over again. Reminds me of the best and worst night of my life. "Words are a sawed off shotgun. Come on and let it out. Come on and let it out."
Extremely addictive... I have been listening to this for 72 hours, over and over. Its crazy I tell ya. Must hear song on the album. This alone is worth buying the album.
NO BETTER BAND,NO BETTER MUSIC, HUMAN MINDS WILL NOT BE CAPABLE OF MAKING MUSIC LIKE THIS FOR ANOTHER 100 YEARS, RADIOHEAD ARE ALIENS FROM A PLANET CALLED F**KIN FANTASTIC MUSIC. MY LIFE WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT RADIOHEADS MUSIC
01 and 10 playist. Rating so far 7.5/10. Honestly when someone told me you have to listen to the whole Radiohead album to get it, I thought it was stupid because I heard like three of their songs and I didn't like them, but when you combine all these songs together in one long playlist it makes them better.
I believe the online buying period is over, but yeah you can buy it in stores which is what I did and it's an amazing album regardless...I saw them last week I was amazed
"She looks back. He looks back. Not just once. Not just twice"
Yorke's high and low voices sound like different people.
The sliding melody and the internal rhythm of the bassline relax my spine

a journey through flirtation, consummation and regret [that] gets about as close as you can to summing up a doomed relationship in four minutes.
The first time I heard this album was also the first time I have ever tripped (lsd). This will forever be my acid album, more specifically this will forever be my acid song.
