In this video, we explore an example of a “Band Pass” filtered sound along with an accompanying bass drone sound. We’re using a Nord Stage 3 for this but you can follow along with your synth to explore the basic concepts.

Great video Marc. I think I finally understand the Envelope controls and how they relate to each other!
Glad to hear this @davevaebutuoy - yes, once you learn that, it's all downhill from there...(Great to hear from you).
This is a very encouraging video; what was once the HORRORS OF MOD ENVELOPE CONTROL has now become the JOYS OF MOD ENVELOPE CONTROL
Thanks for your comment @Art and the Resistance ♪ I like the way you present it.
Brilliant 🎉😊
Thank you @Dherlax - thanks for watching!
Hello :) I am new nord user. How can I select the piano sample I like after I recorded into computer? If I want to choose upright piano but I recorded using the grandpiano, how is possible to do without re-recording?
Hello @me and congrats on being a new Nord user. Are you using an Electro or a Stage? What version exactly? What DAW are you using to record with? Mac or Windows?
It sounds like you already recorded the "Audio" into the computer using the upright piano. Unfortunately, there is no easy (or accurate) way to use this and then somehow get the grand piano to be heard. Here are some helpful videos for people that are new to the world of recording using their Nord keyboards:
Record your Nord keyboard into GarageBand: czcams.com/video/UU6j5o3YfaA/video.html
Record as MIDI, fix the performance and play back as audio (for Logic Pro): czcams.com/video/V_FGQ83xH0Q/video.html
Multi-track recording: czcams.com/video/8mrKV35_45Q/video.html
*Finally, If you want to master your keyboard, I encourage you to consider checking out my free and paid courses available at **www.MyKeysToMusic.com*
Best of luck and congrats again!

@@MyKeysToMusic hello Marc :) I have a Nord Grand and I m just asking info because I'm pretty new. I was very curious because the Dynamic demo available in the Nord website, is the same piece used for each piano sound :) and about computer I am still considering to buy something new and efficient, most probably a Mac. About the audio interface will be Scarlett :)
@@cravattinoivy Good observation. I'm pretty sure I know how they make those demos. They record a single performance to a MIDI track/file. Then they play it back to the Nord keyboard with a different sound each time. This is easy to do once you have the MIDI recorded. Also, the Mac and Scarlett is a great combo. I might recommend Logic Pro for your software since you are considering the Mac. Good luck and feel free to ask more questions along the way.
@@MyKeysToMusic thanks a lot for your videos and answer!! Because you are an expert, I will buy Scarlett 4i4. Do you think is better to take headphones with 32 Ohm or 250 ohm? Is the sound better with 250? I hope Scarlett support it
@@cravattinoivy I'm sorry that I don't know much about headphones to the extent that I can answer your question here. The Scarlett products support standard headphones and I'm not sure what (if anything) is needed to support the 250 type.
