Hi Dr, my mom has periodontitis and the tooth that is affected has stage 2 mobility. Her dentist suggests to pull out the tooth so that when there is no gum pocket, there is no more infection. Must tooth be removed if it's stage 2 mobility or can it be saved? Hope to hear your kind reply. Thank you.
