i broke my hand i was doing handspring handsprings on beam and slipped off and it was so displaced you could see the break in my hand and i calmly walked over to my coach and i was like coach i think i hurt my hand can i ice for a second and she was like sure then i realized i couldn’t move my hand and that’s when the panic and crying happened. i heard it crack but denied it bc it sounded like a knuckle cracking. but once i saw i couldn’t move it and actually looked at it i knew. looking back it’s kinda funny ngl lol😂

Fails aren't always as painful as you'd think, probably because of shock. I do aerial silks and one time in class I was trying a move and I let go too soon and just fell. Everyone asked me if it hurt but honestly it just felt like I floated down lol
As a gymnast you start to figure out that if your teammate is laughing then they’re fine, but if they’re not laughing or they’re crying then you better carry them out of there
I hate how two of the fails were because of equipment; there should be some sort of check beforehand right? (I'm not a gymnast, apologies if I sound uncultured-)
I feel like, as a gymnast, you don’t really notice the pain in the moment because your either in shock or found it hilarious 😂
