Dangerous and creepy !
Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts after watching the video!
Yes, the space between the master bath tub and wall is very hard to keep clean. We had the same space in our previous home. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for letting me know! We don't have that type of tub setup, but honestly I can see it being a pain. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts, I appreciate it.
I like the exterior
It's pretty sharp! What did you think of the basement?
Those stairs are an urgent care or emergency room visit waiting to happen. Pennywise lives in the basement and then slithers into the drainage well while hissing "We all float down here!" The sunlight bouncing off the concrete pad onto the dark house walls will probably hasten damage over time. I'd replace the front door with a better design too. These things are fixable with paint and a remodel on the basement access. I liked the kitchen though.
😅 I did kind of give it that scary movie vibe; I thought it was cool lol. But you're absolutely right about those steps, they are not friendly. That needs to change. Ultimately, they could have built a standard staircase under the stair column that goes upstairs, and skip the secret door altogether. The current configuration limits the basement's use and thus won't appeal to many buyers.
Carpet in the bedrooms? A wood burning fireplace with tile not brick? No way down to the basement besides a makeshift wood stairs with a handrail 6 inches off the steps, no crown molding, small master closet, in a neighborhood of 40s, 50s brick ranch homes. A bit expensive even for Smyrna.
I know what you mean. They''ve been successful in finding buyers for these homes though. This same builder sold 3 similar builds nearby. Around the corner on North Cooper Lake Rd, they sold one for $985K, and $998K. Then to the left of this home, they sold it for $1.135M. I agree they should also have a formal set of stairs to get to the basement. This setup forces people to use the basement garage doors to bring stuff in/out of the basement.
I see why they just lowered the price $54K
It actually went under contract last week after the price drop.
A SIGN OF A GOOD BUILDER IS THAT CHEAP STRAN BOARD IS NOT USED ON THE EXTERIOR, IN TEN YEARS OR LESS IT GETS WATER SOAKED AND BEGAN BREAKING DOWN.
Oops, did I miss them using OSB on the exterior somewhere?
Awful!! A bunker!! Basement scary.. Dangerous!!! itty bitty fire place. No wow factor....Small closets. No privacy small lots...Owners bath small.
They definitely should have put formal stairs in somewhere too!
There's no way I would pay $1M+ for that. The developer should be embarrassed.
But it has a secret door with super awkward steps to the basement!
@@TerenceRichardsonTours 😂
😅
@@TerenceRichardsonTours You mean a ship's ladder down to a crawlspace, right?
🤔 Pretty much but there's plenty of headspace down there to never need to crawl unless you have an NBA player visiting 🏀😁
Price?
This one ended up selling for $1.195M.
This house was poorly planned out..the entrance to the blacked out basement and all that carpet for over 1M is insane. Finishes are not high end. No purpose for the garage door in the basement with no paved access to it.
A second drive with on the right of the house to access the garage in the basement would have made sense, no doubt. Also adding a formal set of stairs. The ones they have are a bit too steep for my level of comfort, especially if carrying things.
“Hey come to my Super Bowl party in my bunker” Probably the worst million dollar home I’ve ever seen.
🤣
Be respectful and show us a real house worth $1 million this a joke 😂
But it has a secret door!!! 😉
