Saitama really has a good point on that one. A real hero never let someone in need to beg for their help. Cause a real hero is a kind and never takes advantage others who are in danger. Even though being a real hero is hard to do, cause you never knew what happen to others. A real hero prefer peace of over bloodshed.

Most people don’t realize that officer Kuma is a really good guy as well. He realized the police were outmatched and threw down his pride to call for the hero association
@@knie1172 Eh, you're right. Although for the second part I'm not sure what you mean, he threw down his pride, it's a normal reaction when making this decision after all. He went around saying that police could handle monsters and when one showed up they couldn't't deal with it and so decided to ask for help. It takes a lot in order to be selfless for others

It is very easy to switch between a good guy and a bad guy without you realizing it. It is perfectly represented in here.
The eye-patched person with eye glasses is being a jerk in the middle of a life and death situation.
This is slightly different with the common idea of *Teaching a person with a hard slap of reality* .
If we think about it, the eye-patched person was right, specially in his own perspective. However, as an audience from the perspective of our real hero *Saitama* and the police officer *Kuma* , the eye-patched person wasn't doing his job as a proper instrument of justice, currently, he is doing it way worst than the majority of the police officers who rejects the idea of hiring a hero when they themselves are also capable of combat and is legally armed with firearms.
In the end of the day, it was a matter of time and we are talking about lives(referring to the lives of the police officers who could die in the groundfloor in that moment) that will end within a few seconds. We have no time to discuss logical arguments with someone who doesn't know the real value of time for those who are below them.
The Justice of Police Officers vs The Justice of Full-Time Hero
Just when the police officer Kuma was about to plea, the real justice came in. A pure form of *Justice* which is *Saitama* himself.
He destroyed the phone and now lets talk about his last line in the conversation between him and Police Officer Kuma.
"Think of this as a payback.... For the pork cutlet bowl."
The best way to use this line was already in practice around the world, but how do you know that this line is being used in its best form?
It is when you throw this line and you know that the person you are doing a favor will look for a chance for a chance to repay you back.
This is also greatly proven in the next panels.
*1st)* Police Officer Kuma has staring intensely at Saitama after that line, as Saitama turned around. He is thinking why would this person put his life in line for a pork cutlet bowl
He is thinking if this person has other ulterior motive, but that is unlikely because he thought he was just a crazy citizen who is arrogant and full of himself. *Audiences* loves this part the most because they love seeing fictional characters change their point of view in life full 360°.
*2nd)* Police Officer Kuma learned that *Saitama* in fact was a real deal hero as he previously mentioned in the interrogation.
After witnessing him beat monster real-time and partially restoring the image and value of *Polices* , surely he wanted to pay him back. However, just when he was about to look for him, He is already gone. Only then he further realized, that *Saitama* was actually a hero with a more value in the word.

@@tyaty It was definitely not garou since he wasn't ready in the slightest (he was barely s rank by then) to face boros and would've needed multiple powerups to reach an awakened state (and even then it could go both ways until the manga proves otherwise).
It may have been either blast or it was genuinely meant to be saitama.
This chapter and the one where he saves a guy from committing suicide just by eating his lunch next to him are two amazing chapters

This is what makes OPM manga not boring even tho the main character is too OP. The main value in this manga is in the "philosophy", that part where he said "heroes and police didn't help people just because they ask please" makes me having goosebumps
Yeah saitama’s story(which is still important) kinda takes a backseat and the story happens around him which is super cool to see and makes the world feel lived in.
That one line- "..He was a Hero."
Just that one line is enough to destroy all the hate saitama has got.

This is the one element that set Saitama appart of the other OP characters. Even tho he's literally a troll character, he's the face of actual justice. The man who have zero resolve but never let others throw away their dignity and resolves. The few people that got to know Saitama understand that, especially Genos. It's super annoying not being able to see him getting the recognition he deserves, but we all just know Saitama is what a "Hero" truly means.

Points to the section chief that would absolutely throw away his pride in order to save lives.
This is the only time where Saitama could have gone up to rank S because there are many witnesses of him defeating the demon monster alone, but he denied that possibility. Saitama knew that the hero association wanted to exploit the situation and makes the police look worthless. If the media knew that Saitama (a hero) defeated the monster whom the police couldn't take care of, it will went like what the hero association planned it to be. That's why he took out the monster outside with police disguise as to eliminate the hero association's chance to exploit the situation, but by doing this he also lost the chance to become S rank hero. He is a true hero indeed.

He's a hero as a hobby, sure getting paid for it is nice and all but really he does it for fun.
As apathetic as he may seem he does do the right thing and will help people when they need it without really asking for anything or any recognition in return, he'll even go so far as to make himself look bad if he has to, like he did when he battled the Sea King.
Honestly this is one of my most favourite special chapters of Opm!! 😍😍😍 He's so humble!

Its just that perfect presentation of one person's morals the viewer shares even though the rest of the world in the story doesn't see it that way

Power wise he’s way above either of them, and All Might absolutely has a sense of justice that matches Izuku’s, he’s just grown old and tired is all.

I would say that I’d consider OPM or Mob Psychic better stores overall cause ONE is an absolute god at writing, but I don’t see a reason to put down the absolute wholesomeness that is Dad-Might and Izuku.

I love this bits more than other videos because they are contained stories that dont ruin the plot for someone like me that wants to wait for the anime but still likes to see a bit more of Saitama now and then.
