The is the kind of movie I need to inspire me and to remind me that hard work and determination is equal to success.
Even though she didn't have a degree, she proved to be a very valuable asset to the company.
A degree does not mean all as speaking from to much personal expeirence - have had to deal with way to many "that are book smart and common sense stupid" plus also very very lacking in creativity as they think everything in the real world should operate exactly like out of a text book!
a degree used to actually mean more. Now just suck your money for a piece of paper that need as is cost of admission to jobs that just used to need a diploma.
Beauty school used to be 6 months and now is two years to cut hair. Most people can learn to cut hair in 2 wks.
In the real world, a pound of experience is worth a ton of theory.
What world do you live in ? It’s all who you know , it’s corrupt and full of swindlers and liars .

Such an inspiring movie and to prove that a degree doesn't always mean it's the best person for the job. I don't think I can fault any of JLo"s films and the female cast in this 1 all seemed to roll of each other giving it that extra wow, and the other actors made it work too. But the 1 big thing is to always tell the truth as it will come out in the end it always does. The beautiful part about this movie is who she finds all these years later. Such a great watch as I really enjoyed this. Thanks for uploading it xo

5 minutes in, I feel her. I worked at a big international organization. Having Bachelors only get you as far as doing clerical tasks. Clerical is fine, but not after 7-10 years of doing the same thing without any chance of career development. A colleague has the same rank for more than 3 decades, probably until retirement. They only look at you if you have Masters. I left. Continued my study and now looking for a better job. Life is not fair indeed.

@@jackfrosty4674 Unfortunately enterpreneurship is not for everyone. Being businessperson is tough, as it should be, including for micro size enterprise. The capital, the production, supply chains, etc. Some made it, but some just too frail to lose and drown into debt. J-Lo's business in the end of this film ---> that needs a huge capital as a start-up and confidence not to fail. On that scene, some people would prefer to be one of the employees behind the computer. Nevermind a high/medium rank one, but it will still be an "employee".
@@mthr17cj completely agree. When they say business fail that just start is most of time due to person realizing must work hours of 24 7 for years to operate on going business. Once they realize much harder than working as an employee they go back to employee as want to have anothe part to life and not willing to wait fifteen years.

My girlfriend and I were wiping away tears a few times. Her boyfriend was a real stand up guy. No compromising principles with that dude. Definitely not a simp. I almost had to leave the room when she got up to speak to the top execs and CEO’s. I’m so glad she came clean before Dick-wad humiliated her in front of everyone. Great movie.
I had to watch it again. I'm retired from a local school district after 43 years of service...without a degree. I believe that the more you read, the more you know.

This was a great movie. I gave my daughter up for adoption when I was 23. She was adopted by a wealthy family and I went off to college, started my own business which I stil have 20 years later. We had an open adoption but it became to difficult for her emotionally continue a relationship with me. I was also a child of adoption. Its not always a happy ending unfortunately.
Pray 3 times a day.....By God's grace I hope an turn-around bring you two closer regardless of pass circumstances..Bless you both!!
