When nineteen-year-old Remy acts as a surrogate for a seemingly happy couple, she is unwittingly thrown into a deadly love triangle in which no one is safe…not even the unborn. In order to start a family, college professor JACOB KELLY and his wife ALLISON turn to Carriers, a full service surrogacy center, for help and are introduced to their surrogate REMY. Meanwhile, KATE, a young administrative assistant who works at the college with Jacob and has a secret crush on him, decides she will do anything to bear his child.
The depth of her emotional disturbance is revealed when she murders Remy, convinces the Kelly’s to take her place as the surrogate and creates an elaborate fantasy of a relationship with Jacob, hoping to break up his marriage. Being crazy in love for someone's husband and go extra miles to kill and destroy happy marriage shouldn't be done.
It's awful yeah, but look at what happened to her in the past...his dad should've reported that friend and let her give the kid for adoption...she got sick and needed some help.
I can't believe this Kate and how the wife is so oblivious to how attracted she is to her husband then to lie and clown is so unbelievable...like ish you sitting on a 1M dollars like why are you messing around with this woman and her husband...like get a life then she killed Remy 4 no reason...Thank God Remys man did his own investigation...

📌 Trust your instincts; Allison should have stood firm when uncomfortable with Kate's request.
📌 Don't let bad experiences turn you into a demon, as seen with Kate.
📌 When investigating a loved one's death, involve the police; Remy's boyfriend's mistake led his death.
📌 Verify unexpected hangout invitations; Remy's life was lost due to a text.
Lastly, Kate is undeniably clever, annoying, and incredible. 😅

I think she just never got the help she needed. She was raped at 17 by her father's business associate and she got pregnant and he father forced her to keep the baby so he can marry her off to his friend in exchange shares in a company. She's a victim who never got any help and it clearly affected her psychologically

Being desirous of getting a baby, becoming ready to spend the huge money for a surrogate can be common whereas the wife showed resentment and being sceptical about her husband's faith was intolerable.
Having killed the first surrogate has been the thrilling start which shows her character.
