This stuff is the real deal. If your transmission is slipping, its going to die eventually anyways. Why not try to get a few more miles out of it before its time. I used some of this stuff on a 1999 Acura CL with around 150k miles on the original transmission, it was slipping heavily. I had the same results, the car ended up driving almost 100k more on the transmission. There is NO WAY ON EARTH it would have made it that far without the Lucas. It was hanging on by a thread.
Once I put the Lucas in the first time, I changed it one more time with the same mixture (honda ATF and Lucas).

The question is how is it shifting after letting it rest for about 24hrs? Warming up the engine and transmission usually fixes the rough shifting. But once it’s cold again, you get the rough shift again.
Another test is, after 24hrs, start the engine. Let it idle for 30secs to let the oil run thru the engine. Then rev it quickly to around 3-3.5k rpm. Then shift it to reverse or drive. If it does not do shift shock, yeah lucas has fixed it but only temporarily.

This stuff works, my friend bought a Chevy Impala from the dealership at a discounted price because it was the display model that was used for test drives a lot after a year of driving it the transmission had problems he went to every place he could including the same dealer and other shops that specialize in transmissions everybody was quoting him atound the price of $3500 he tried what his brother told him to do and added Lucas oil and it fixed the transmission he never replaced it and it was fine after that.

Thank you so much for making this video. I have an '06 Acura TL with the BDGA transmission. It's not as bad as what yours was doing. The 2nd- 3rd pressure switches go out on those, but easy to change. Also there is a serviceable transmission cooler return line filter that can be replaced. Some inside with a plate held on by 3 bolt's. Others use a metal thread on one end- hose barb on the other (the easier one to change). I wish Honda made better transmissions. Their engine's are good (excluding earth dreams engine's).

The 4L60 in my 05 Trailblazer used to do hard shifts and shutter in 4th while trying to go up a hill, and that was when it didn't want to go into 3rd. I'd have to manually shift into 3rd just for it to go up hill without much problem. But then putting it back in D just hard shifts it into 4th. But recently it's been acting very normal on the shifts and doesn't shutter anymore. Of course I still have the downshifting problem when going up a hill but it doesn't hard shift anymore. Mind you I haven't done anything to it and it's the original 186k mile transmission that came in it from the factory.

Yes, that does sort of fix the accord transmission but you just caused a bigger problem, for the future. Your transmission is not bad. It’s a very common blockage issue. czcams.com/video/dfjXiUWsWic/video.htmlsi=JM1R3GyhA61V5rTR The link is for a video that will show you the part I’m talking about. you need to take this off, clean out the screens clean out the tubes or your transmission on that accord Will do some crazy things. Putting that fluid in it has some hard-core detergents so after a while, it does clean out those tubes but now your transmission is overfilled!!! Those transmissions do not like that. You will blow seals. Second, there is no code for this fix it’s just a Christmas tree on the dash.
