The takeaway from this video is:
If you witness an accident and have it on camera that could help someone...
Just drive off. Because it's easier to submit videos for clout than to share it with the people in the accident.

Object permanence is the concept that something still exists even when it is not in your direct field of view. This typically develops at around 8 months in humans, but it appears to be absent in some of the population, particularly those behind the wheel. I got hit a couple months ago. There were dozens of witnesses but no one stopped. The other guy lied about what happened. It took almost a month before the insurance company agreed that he was at fault. It's now almost 3 months later and he has an attorney and is trying to contest the decision. I bought a dashcam right after that wreck. Before the dashcam arrived I witnessed a wreck. I had to drive about 12 miles to turn around on the interstate but I stopped a gave a written statement. After what happened to me I will always stop and now I can provide video evidence.

Former trucker here, regarding crash 19.
I am very convinced that the truck driver had no idea the car was there. There's a lot of blind spots in a truck when compared to a car, and that's probably the worst possible one. Also, the driver of the car is changing lanes and therefore is responsible for doing it safely. And there's no way you could miss a truck since you have better view than trucker does.
Driver of the car is at fault. Easy case.

No. 5, I never understand the strange comments people have about emergency response vehicles, which includes police cars, traveling at high speeds with lights and sirens. That's what those are for. It's like they never had to go to driving school. The cammer doesn't need to know anything except that the police are indicating they are responding to an emergency. The police can't simply turn on the lights and siren for the fun of it, with gambling on losing their job.

The salesperson told him to drive back to the dealership rather than stop and exchange info, then hid the guy driving in the showroom and refused to let me speak with him to get insurance. 5:58 I wonder if people in general understand physics. If an object is affected by a force there will always be a reaction. Either the force simply turns into heat within a material on the car, or the material is deformed as a result of the impact of the force. Shock absorbers are designed to absorb an impact. The shock is absorbed by the shock absorber itself, and if that is not enough by the brackets hidden behind the shock absorber. In other words, there may be hidden damage that cannot be seen on the outside of the shock absorber. The same goes for the car... it has crash zones. So the car can be damaged without it being clearly visible. Therefore, always have a professional assess the damage.

Drivers these days can be very impatient - I would have gotten into an accident this week when two impatient drivers BEHIND me decided to go around me on the side walk. I was at a weird Y shaped junction and was going to turn right but a car opposite me was already trying to make a left to turn into the same lane I was going in so I slowed to allow them finish. # 13, I can't BELIEVE that the bozo in the Ford carried on driving down the road with his hood flipped up over the windshield.. but then, every time it snows around here, there are always drivers who don't clear their windshields inside or out, and go along peering through narrow little slits...

8:05 is why I never wave anyone through, and why I never go when someone waves me through. You never know what on earth other drivers are going to do or what there driving styles are. Unless someone is hurt and you know you can help them, just worry about yourself and don’t put anyone at risk and just drive. Same with 0:19. I know it’s really frustrating when someone pulls out in front of you and even I have some road rage, but it’s always better to just slow down when something unexpected happens. When someone turns out in front of someone else they block the road view for EVERYONE directly in front and behind you and between the bad drivers. This goes for 3:44 too. YOU CAN NEVER PREDICT WHAT PEOPLE ON THE ROAD WILL DO. I always wait a couple seconds when the light turns green if I’m the first car. Never know what other people are going to do

4:54 That right-on-red wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't _also_ an illegal turn regardless of the color of the lights. The driver turned into the far lane, which is a traffic violation. It's a very common violation, but it's still a violation. According to traffic law, you're required to turn into the nearest lane that isn't already associated with a turn lane closer to the curb. (if there's only one lane that can turn, it's curb-lane-to-curb-lane.)

Thats why in some cases, i wont turn right on red. In our area people are nutorious for turning into the far lane when they have the left turn lane. Many cases i will wait until the cross traffic has a left green, that way if someone wants to hit me, they'll have to get through a wall first.

Minnesota technically allows going into the farthest lane, though it is supposed to be based on "vehicle configuration". The intent of the law is for trucks, but it is not specifically defined for such vehicles.
      "169.19 TURNING, STARTING, AND SIGNALING.
      Subdivision 1.Turning at intersection.
The driver of a vehicle intending to turn at an intersection shall do so as follows:
      (a) Except as otherwise provided in this paragraph, both the approach for a right turn and a right turn shall be made as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway. When necessary to accommodate vehicle configuration, a driver is permitted to make a right turn into the farthest lane of a roadway with two or more lanes in the same direction in order to make a U-turn at a reduced conflict intersection, if it is safe to do so."

Unless you've been IN the cab of a semi, it's REAL easy to say they should have seen the car. The reality is - even in the passenger seat - the front passenger bumper is a huge blind spot, and even with the mirrors to let you know a car is there, you can't tell when they are merging until the connect happens. From the driver's seat, is even trickier. My husband has been a trucker for 20 years and the amount of passenger vehicle drivers that act a fool thinking a semi weighing 78,000+ pounds with loads of blind spots can react and/or stop on a dime is insane. Dash cams should be a requirement for truckers to protect themselves above all else.
