I have watched Nik on and off for years and can tell he’s a very sweet guy, so I think he would feel too guilty trashing David since he was a big reason why he blew up back then.
Big Nick needs to realize he can forgive them for the crappy way they treated him & forgive himself for allowing it. He needs to remember what they did & how he was treated so history doesn't repeat itself. He needs to know not all people who smile in your face have his best intentions in mind...as a matter of fact, most people don't.
I don't think so, I think he's just a genuinely kind person who believes in forgiveness. People aren't two dimensional, they have many sides. Nick is able to recognize that just because David had some bad sides, doesn't mean that his many good sides don't exist.

He’s afraid to admit Trisha was right because of the outrageous claims she made. Even when they were true, he’s afraid to confirm them in fear of starting something with David. I think he just wants to leave this in the pass by acting as passive as possible
I think that’s the thing. Trish is never scared of talking about the situations she gets herself into. Even with all the drama n everything she handles her shit. She isn’t scripted, she accepts her ups and downs and mistakes🤷🏽♀️
Update: the gorilla-glue girl is currently in the ER according to her ig. People are telling her to shave her head but she can’t even do that cuz her hair is damn near bonded to her skin at this point. There hasn’t been any new growth cuz her follicles must be completely blocked. The chemicals have been sitting there for over a month...I genuinely hope she’s ok

Not gonna lie the convo with Nik felt kind of like watching therapy. You can tell he came on with the intention of being as sweet about David as possible but after hearing Ethan and Hila tell him how wrong it is I feel like we could see him realize it in real time. That’s gotta suck man.
I definitely think he needed to hear someone tell him that what David did was not excusable
Yesss and I love that Ethan didn't back down. It was obvious Nik wasn't comfortable talking shit to some extent, but it's important he knows and tells the truth. Ethan didn't let him avoid it and asked the right questions in a gentle way that made Nik open up more and we really saw that shift I think. Hila was invaluable too, when she talks people really listen, so when she reaffirmed and even pretty much outright said "no that's not okay" it made it easier for Nik to get on board too. Coz Hila is queen and always right 🙏
You should check out the compilation of David with Nik. It was in my recommendation here on CZcams. It was quite disturbing.

Nick started off defensive about what he went through, and the second he saw that Hila and Ethan were hearing him out with mutual respect and compassion he started opening up. I think he is afraid of saying anything about people (especially afraid of agreeing with Trisha, they had similar experiences yet Trishas was more on the extreme side and Nick on the prolonged side).
I definitely got the same vibes. I would say that's a good interpretation
the only people who were respected in david’s vlogs were the pretty white boys lol. minorities, disabled people, old people and overweight people were all used for rude jokes, women were shunned if they weren’t overtly sexual enough for the vlogs or weren’t willing to put up with misogynistic jokes, only exception being natalie because she’s also a bully who knew david for a long time
Also, all the jokes towards the skinny white pretty people were all about them being hot. Natalie's trope was literally that she was just sooo irresistible and all the guys were obsessed with her
And the pretty women are just used as slut jokes.
They were always very selective in who was treated better or worse. The less attractive you were in general (this also covers what you listed) the more likely you were to be made the butt of the joke or more covertly ostracized from being a more respected member of the group.

NGL, I'm very impressed with how articulated Big Nick is when expressing his opinions on the matter at hand. He was super respectful throughout the entire interview and I hope whoever watches this that had any previous conjectures towards Big Nick has opened their eyes and hearts a little bit and see that he has a good soul and is working on self-improvement and understanding how to set boundaries.

Absolutely, I’ve been really disappointed and somewhat disturbed with the way h3h3 has went these last few years but the interview with Nick was respectful and he was very well spoken about the situation, if not a little too kind to those who abused him.
The fact that big nick said that he could relate to Trisha about being suicidal during the time they were apart of the vlog squad even tho big nick didn’t really want to comment on Trisha’s claims really proves that something is seriously wrong in that group
I think he doesn't want to comment on somebody else's point of view because it wouldn't be accurate since he doesn't really know what she felt. He said she exaggerated a bit, but it seems he has a similar emotional response to hers, so I think he is just walking on egg shells attempting to not offend anybody. Just my opinions.

While what happened to Nik was (borderline) abusive, it’s also very clear that he is having a hard time relativising the situation, so at times he can seen a bit radical (like the cult references and references to how he was famous before David and such show very well how he thinks about the situation - pretty sinister and power related thinking, but that’s because he probably has issues with his ego [because of his social standing in the group but also in general, making assumptions but hey] ) … and of course that’s his POV and that should be valid. He did get hurt a lot and despite this is trying to express his experience in a nuanced way (but having a hard time there) and trying to find strength through faith and yeah it might seem a bit crazy talky at times, but he was, like he said himself in a bad mental state for awhile and that really does take a toll on your view of the world

I think Nik made a really good point about how vlogs of glorified high school bullying of already vulnerable/targeted groups (people with disabilities, people of colour etc) brought in millions of views and support. I don’t think that was nearly as bad, he mostly made fun of garret for liking Harry Potter, which was pretty amusing. Garret is not obese, ugly, or disabled, far from it, Shane wasn’t exactly poking fun at someone in an unfortunate position, whereas David “punches down” and puts already disenfranchised people on the roasting spit...and that is lower than low.
As much as it seems as if nick was trying to distance himself from things Trisha said, he confirmed a lot of what she said and the things he said totally explain how being part of that group ended her up hospitalized. D'Angelo we need the David deep dive!

Nik struggles with issues related to his height. he wants to portray himself as very strong and favored. The last thing he wants to be seen as is a vicim and I believe that was his intention at the beginning of this interview but his true feelings poured out. Ultimately nobody deserves to go through bullying and I guess the most disappointing part of it is he refuses to give Trisha any credibility even though they clearly have more in common than one would think.

For the hair situation, I would apply "Goo Gone" (you can get it at dollar tree, it'san adhesive remover oil) & comb at it with a fine tooth (metal if you have it, if not, get a pack, you'll need em) maybe repeat it 2 or 3 times. Then put in a spray bottle 100% acetone & 91% Isopropyl alcohol (or even try 100 vol alcohol) Do it in a ventilated area. Just keep at it w the Goo Gone & alternate that & the sprays & combing. Try a metal kitchen scrubbie & keep going in 1 direction with the scrubbie & goo gone, also try a scrubbie bristle brush. Surely gorilla glue has an anti adhesive for this, id think anyone who makes the glue has a remover for obvious reasons. (Even just for self use) Good luck. I really think this will help, just be persistent. 💗

He admitted he isnt a victim because he allowed it. It wasnt like high school to where you're stuck 8 hrs a day with the "bully". No he could easily leave but he said he allowed it. If Ethan wouldnt have been taking everything Nik said and then twist it to make it seem darker it wouldnt seem so back and forth. I had bad teeth for years because I got heavy into drugs. I got clean but my teeth were still bad and getting worse. I met a guy who had a huge heart if I needed something he would be there, but he constantly made fun of me for my teeth. I was insecure about them but due to him giving me shit all the time I accepted it was who I am. This guy seen me go through hell and he didnt hold my hand and cater to my feelings and he told me what I didnt want to hear but needed to hear. Because of him I gained my confidence back. He has also told me plenty of times when I almost relapsed that he would beat the f out of me. Every year on my sobriety date he calls me up and takes me out to eat and congrats me on staying clean. Last year I called him after I got my teeth fixed and he cried tears of Joy's and then he said "you're still ugly though " that is what friendships are. Does he talk behind my back yes, do I talk behind his back yes. We are adults we understand it is what adults do.
