Many thanks Doug for your tutorial help ,I wouldn’t have find the way to do it by myself…it’s more clear now and it will help for other songs …I still have issues with building a song set list ,but I just discover the fender tone master pro …it ‘s a good feeling you took care of my problem and fix it in this video , again, many thanks
Hey Doug, great content as always, love your videos! I had a suggestions for a future video: A video about the noise gates in the TMP. It seems every amp model has a built-in noise gate that can be set to either Off, Low, Medium, High, or Max. But then there are also a few pedals as well, Metal Gate, Noise Gate, and Simple Gate. Maybe you could discuss the Threshold and Attenuation parameters and how they function. Thank you for all the TMP videos!
Thanks Doug, these vids are a great help. Just thinking that you could set up these changes in just the one preset. Seems a bit of a faff to have two separate presets to bring into a song? You can always list the presets in number order, for live work anyway? Am I missing something?
You can always set up Scenes within a preset if that's your preference, but this is Fender's way of building Songs. You don't *have* to use multiple presets; I had one Song with a single preset in that video. They do it this way because you have seamless preset switching, so you can use up to 6 presets in a Song. I don't play out anymore, so I can't say which method I'd prefer.
Hey Doug, dumb question...so obviously you are running through the TMP, but what are you doing after that ? Into a DAW or through a speaker cab that's miked? I like your tone do I'd like to replicate what you do
HELLO again Doug. still a lot of problem with editing a song setlist .. when I go to search ch icon and I put a number of preset or a name preset , nothing is found ??? and when I click on the plus button it s only finding the "songs" list but not all the presets ??? and when I want to add a preset to "songs" it dose t work anymore ??it would be cool to have a " glisser/ reposer function "
Here's the process: 1) You build all of the PRESETS you need for a SONG. 2) Create a SONG, which is made up of up to 6 PRESETS. 3) Repeat steps 1 & 2 to create a list of SONGS. 4) Now you can create a SETLIST, which is made up of numerous SONGS. If you're creating a SETLIST, don't search for PRESETS. Search for SONGS.
Hello! I have a question: is there a way to put the Fender ToneMaster Pro in "Standby Mode", without having to turn it off and on again? since it takes a while to start.. Thank you!!

You are very welcome!
Man another great video! Fender should be paying Doug!
That would be cool!
You are such a nice person Mr. B. Well explained.

Great suggestion! It's been added to the list 👍
Thanks
Thank you so much!

I record the TMP into Logic Pro (my DAW). Then I bounce that file and match it with my video. Thanks for asking 👍
Doug ,how do you know all that ? it s not that clear on the fender instruction. . I thought it would be more intuitive than that
It seems pretty intuitive to me, much easier than Helix or Fractal

Not really - best thing I can think of is to turn the Master Volume all the way down.
Yes!
Doug what is your delay Big Al lead ruler ?
That's just a block preset that I made for the Stereo Tape Echo.
