Make sure You put a clear fuel filter in the end of that to keep dirt dust Etc. out of your differential.I ran mine up into the bed so I can see what it is doing... I Just had to replace that fitting that the vent line goes on( brake line and vent hold down bolt) because it had seized into the brake line housing. I Replaced the brake line the goes up to the frame at the same time. I used some copper antiseize on that fitting to help keep it from seizing inside the brake line housing again. Once I finally got the bolt out of the brake fitting it was almost rusted in two. I had to turn it red hot and drop it in oil a couple of times before I got the bolt out of it. It was a real pain. But I am glad I caught it just in time. I just happened to be putting all new brake lines on the truck when I raining to this issue. Thanks for sharing, Keep up the good work! 👍
So I just finished changing my spider gears and my axel bearings and if you have not yet get a check valve on the end of that hose man. Everyone has told you because of water BUT ! I had tiny pebbles in my driver's side axel housing. For real last thing I expected to see in there. The hose was hanging 1 day so I zip tied it up and did not know anything went in the end. Might be why my bearings went...
Lmk if you get any info because I bought an obs silverado and it spits all over my bed ,more because I got a cnotch going on and is not covered ' it's cut and exposed so it gets all over my rear windshield I want to know to begin with, if that's normal (notice it spitting when I full throttle my truck )second what is the correct set up
Glad to see you found where the water was getting in
Nice! I did this exact same project on my 03 and added an OEM Mopar check valve on it.
At least it sounds like summer where you are. Winter here and now... and the hose is shot.

great job
probably better to have use that size hose anyways...
5/16 perhaps? Great videos BTW 👍
I think that size would be good. I’m actually happy with the snug fit in the 1/4 and think it worked out well
3/8" or 5/16"
Is there any way brake fluid could come out if that axel breather ?
