  • Some comments on resizing .284 Win.Brass for use in a Karabiner Model 31 (Swiss K31) which chambers 7.5X55mm Swiss ammunition. One thing I forgot to add at the end of the video is to chamber each empty case in the chamber to test fit the resized case and to insure that the case chambers properly. Otherwise you will end up with a bunch of ammunition that doesn't fit. I learned this the hard way and ended up having to pull a bunch of bullets from ammo that didn't chamber properly.

Fantastic video.... I have just ruined 45 x 7.5 cases by following Hornadyfull length resizing dies instructions to the detail. Why I didn’t test re chambering the brass before loading up I just don’t know. The shoulders were set too far back so on firing the there was no ignition..... the firing pin wasn’t even reaching the primer. You learn the hard way sometimes. I am now going to try resizing 284 win. Great video...especially testing the chambering at the end. Thanks Australian shooter..
