I guees
I think it was more of them being blown away haha
2:26 What speed is that, 130?
We're at 175😂😂
Kinda hard to explain but 130 is kinda like half 170, they can both have drum kicks happening at the same time, so the bpm is defined kinda by the genre and accompanying noises.
@@cyberoverkill5844 I dont really get your point. Half of 170 is 85 which is also nowhere near 130. Its more like 3/4 of 170. Which would be 127,5 but even then the rythm would be quite different🤔
Yeh but people making music in their day wouldn't have said 140, they'd have said 70, so to him 130 is mad high, he wasn't listening to a click, he was listening to a beat at 170, probably just sounded fast as fuck to him so he just guessed a high number
Give me a tempo like this 🤣
the doors are used to playing with real instruments with a real snap tempo unlike we have an instant tempo functions in every DAW..... Bottom line they are much more into real music then a technology based music and it says all that why he said, is the speed 130???? which was a common question.

I always thought how skrillex came up with the melody for Breakin' a sweat. This was one of those songs for me where i played it for the melody and not for the drop and thought like how much time he would have invested in finding the chords and stuff. Now i see this guy comes in goes "Uh-ha Uh-ha UH-HA.......give me a tempo like this" and lays it down on the spot.......What a LEGEND!!!
Most producers can do that though. When you get to a certain level, it all comes together quick during collaboration.
"legend" is how ray manzarek was and is known actually 😂

Yeah ‘this guy’ comes in and lays it down. Lmao. ‘This guy’

Camera switches off, throws Beats headphones in the bin.
harpersneil Honestly. No producer uses beats except for maybe when testing it with more normal speakers/headphones.
tsobf242 what do they use then?
Larry Martinez proper studio headphones or monitors
To be honest I don't think it really matters what headphones he uses,
a) If he listens to music through beats then he is used to what music sounds like through them and his mixes should come out pretty normal as a result.
b) He almost certainly gets his stuff mixed and mastered by a professional.
Don't really see then harm, no doubt he got payed a shit ton of money just to wear them.
@@stephenward2743 the problem is mixing with beats has too much bass and so mixing with them will make it sound weird on other headphones because the frequencies will be adjusted weirdly

Just a question, do you like electronic music or not? This comment is confusing
Just because one doesn't like Dubstep, it doesn't mean that it can be assumed that "music is dead".
Maybe some day, people will realize that unless you're a fucking genius like Sonny really is (on electronic music), it is not as easy as you think. I'm not defending the guy because I like him and his music, but there is so much fucking jealousy, hate and negative shit on EVERYTHING about him. And then there are the people who think music production is from a click of a button (what button exactly?), how bout you guys give it a shot? Let me know how you go.
Cheers (:
^
CORRECT!! imma be honest... i thought that stuff like this was really really easy. so when i got the chance to do this, BOY WAS I WRONG. i thought you just make sounds and put them together, NO you need make the sound on your own, then EQ, process, mix, premaster, master, and much more. So i now say to people that hate on this... try it for yourself, then see where you stand.
people can't handle the shift from expression through instruments, to expression through engineering.
TOTALLY FCKING AGREE!! Even if you want to try to do Rap, or Trap or any possible genre, It is not easy...
All the hate/jealousy/negativity has nothing to do with his skills as a "musician." It has everything to do with his conceited douchebaggery.

Jim Morrison actually predicted a guy like Skrillex. In the entire interview you can find on youtube ...he talks about the future of music. Says at some point he could see someone alone on stage playing music through a computer or electronic devices. Isn't that unreal and ironic that his bandmates would be a part of that? The future is uncertain and the end is always near ....well ...Jim was very perceptive ..smart intelligent..very surprising to see he wasn't like his media image. He also said in the same interview if you had someone who gave you a lot of money and you went away and secluded yourself to write songs and create an album it probably wouldn't be very relevant. You would be out of touch. I think there are a lot of people out of touch!!!!!
