Gus is the man. Your old video with him got me into his channel. Turns out he has videos on the merrimack river in NH right next to my house. Small world.
Thankyou I really enjoyed this Love the blue lighting and it was nice to see the computer analysis ; there are some smart people out there Have fun, stay safe Stuart in Ireland ☘️
Great project Good to see you using the CDI software Ive been dealing with them since they were "RAPAIR" and Ray took technical support calls do yourself a favor and get a plan to add some serious setback It needs at least a 12" box not sure with the weight of the 3.0 Back in the 90s I installed at least 20 stainless marine brackets on various checkmates with night and day gains my personal starflite with a strong 20" 2.5 carb gained an honest 10 with 18" setback being the only change running both a "rolled" DAH 27" SRX and a 24" DAH Raker without a step the balence is so screwed up that you waste so much power trying to lift the boat by uselessly over triming mine just came alive and was such a blast with the Raker needing little more than neutral trim (relatve to the horizon) meaning the gearcase was running nearly straight thru the water at speed the solid water passed just over the top of the torpedo wasting little water in the air shure miss that ride!!!!!

Seeing checkmate back on the water is going to be awesome!
I grew up in Indiana on a big lake. I always loved those checkmate! We're moving to ft myers as soon as I sell the house!
Great having your content back… cheers!!

I love your boat!!! It’s so bad ass!!! How many hp is it now?
awesome
Did you have to pay 36 hours of labor to find the backwards cables?
How much is the software you using for your boat I’m was looking for some software for my mercrusier
How much setback are you running? Also, would a shorter mid work on this boat?
