    A little bit about me: I have lived in Fayetteville since 2003 and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management. After graduating college, I worked for a few different Wal-Mart vendors before becoming a Realtor in 2015. Since becoming a Realtor, I have become a National Speaker and am one of the top listing agents in NWA. I am passionate about helping other team members increase their skills to become more successful, and am focused on my own personal development to be able to constantly add value to my team and clients.

    I have visited there many times and like the Rogers area. One of the cons that I observed is that the roads are very narrow and traffic is congested. It does not appear that there is much room to improve/widen the roads, so they will have some challenges to try and resolve this as an issue.

    • @naturallynwahometeam
      @naturallynwahometeam  Před 3 lety +3

      I’m not sure how long it’s been since you visited, but the Interstate was widened to 3 lanes, with enough shoulder space to add a 4th if necessary. They would have a hard time widening the main roads in town, but most folks don’t think traffic is too bad around here compared to larger cities

      @naturallynwahometeam there's extensive damage to rogers (mostly), Bentonville, gravette, and surrounding areas. Unconfirmed thus far 5 tornados in total I think from knwa. Everywhere South of lowell was untouched. Rogers took by far the heaviest hit. Countless businesses and homes are gone. It's going to take a while just to clear it. Probably months if not a year. Lots of open gas lines and water lines. Downtown rogers electric grid is in shambles.

      There is a lot of construction and development going on in NWA so I would imagine there would be jobs for the type of work you do. Crossland Construction, CR Crawford, and Nabholz are some of the largest commercial construction companies in NWA. And there are banks everywhere for your wife to find employment.
      The weather is really nice here. We have all 4 seasons. In the winter it will sometimes snow, and typically doesn’t get below freezing very often. It rains a lot in the Spring and Summer, with temps in the summer usually capping out in the 90’s, but we do reach 100 from time to time. Because it rains a lot here, we do have a fair amount of humidity, but it’s not like living in Louisiana or Texas where you start sweating as soon as you walk outside.

    Question for Eric and locals. I have had to escape the economic destruction in Nevada and now Utah caused by the California transplant plague. My other half and I are looking at Arkansas because it seems to be
    off the California hipster radar. Have you or anyone seen a dramatic uptick in California transplants? Right now the cost of living in North West Arkansas is comparable to what Nevada was before the left coast infiltrated and destroyed our economy. We were looking at Tennessee but I'm noticing the same trend as Nevada and Utah with the cost of living getting out of control as more people flee California. I really want to put down some roots in a state where I don't have to keep moving every 5 years to escape astronomical housing prices as more and more people move in from the place I've mentioned ten times already lol 😆 Sorry if I seem like a California hater. I am just super bitter about the political and economic devastation left in their wake as they colonize state after state. I am running out of places to escape the California Cancer lol

    I hate it!!! I have met the most vile men here dating. People stick to themselves or their own cliques. It is depressing. People tend to be friendly enough on a superficial level. It’s not for me.

      Yeah the people here f@#king suck big time. I've been here since 2015 and I'm so freaking tired of the rudeness and the cliquish and stuck up ways of the residents around here. The place could burn to the damn ground and I wouldn't care one bit. I won't be living here much longer it is causing me too much stress dealing with these stupid rednecks.
