Hi. Great video. I've been testing for a while silicone o rings and they work great. My spg is attached with it and it's fixed and it doesn't break like rubber o-rings. Advantages? In case of an entanglement and if the boltsnap is unaacesable or jammed I can break it pulling with force of it instead of using a line cutter.

Possible. I personally don’t trust orings on that matter. But if it works for you, that’s fine!

@@DoktorBEN I only use it with those things that are attached at another point at me p.e hoses to the first stage, so there is no risk of loosing equipment. Cordless flashlights and anything that's not attached to me at any other point is tied with caveline as you've shown.

That’s a nice tip to secure the knot!

I had to to replace my high pressure hose. Couldn't remember how to tie the SPG bolt snap. You did it the same way my GUE instructor did, except he looped 2 times instead of 3. This was helpful in remembering how.
My SPG hose is 26". I believe GUE uses 24.5." Since in the US everything is in inches instead of centimeters the choose is 24" or 26". My SPG ring is slightly larger than what you show. It is just big enough for me to fit my finger though with gloves.

Depends on the line…a thicker line might be ok with 2 wraps a very thin one might need even 4. So it doesn’t really make a difference.
The length of the hose in turn depends on the regs and the backplate you use. And quite frankly…hoses are often not cut precisely and may vary anyway a bit.

Thanks! Yes I can do that!
Regarding XDeep snaps…. We’ll they’re not against standards and I think they are very nice, yet a bit overpriced for my taste
