She actually forgave Walden almost immediately but she just never was actually interested in Walden. She only cared about her career and Walden was only a boy toy she never really cared about seriously.
In their first dinner together Kate tells Walden she's is tired of men trying to impress her with what they have. That was a conversation that he should have been reminding her of In This Moment. He may have become a more casual more relaxed version but he was still Walden. Because she did say that to him at that first dinner that should have made her understanding about why he hid his wealth so that their chemistry happened naturally without her Weighing anyting else into it. I also noticed in this particular episode at the end she softens her stance on him but still doesn't want to be with him and it's understandable that she wants to pursue her career and cannot be in La anymore. But it rubs me the wrong way that we never hear her thank him for all he did to make her dream come true.

He can be honest about who he is and be grounded at the same time. I wish he told her sooner about who he is rather than later.
