This is great, Sally. It’s nice to see someone as young as you love Queen as much as I do. I saw them twice back in the day. I love Freddie. I just turned 66 and I still don’t get much satisfaction of other Rick bands. I’m s classical music fan. Also, just to let you know that I love the Hot Space album. Great to workout to. Thanks for all you do on Queen. Another of my favorites is James Rundle. Keep ‘em coming.

Absolutely fantastic collection. I've been a Queen fan since the mid 80s and started collecting them around the time of Live Aid. Sadly I sold all my Queen records in the 90s when I was skint, but I've managed to get a lot of them again, along with many I couldn't find then. Freddie's death hit me hard too and I couldn't listen too Queen for a few years in the 90s. I'm impressed because you have records I've never owned in over 30 years! It made me smile seeing your enthusiasm for Queen and their vinyl. Nice one for liking Hot Space too. You've done very well to get the Live at Wembley 86, Greatest Hits II & Innuendo originals. At some point in my life I've owned all the Freddie era Queen UK vinyl singles and albums as originals, either back in the late 80s as a kid or now. I'm very geeky about Queen and vinyl! My current collection is better than my childhood one, but I'd love some of my Queen records and memorabilia back again, especially the books, jigsaws and posters I had. I'd also love the hologram Miracle single and clear vinyl Invisible Man again. It's great that you have those. I'm showing my age when I say I bought them when they were new!
You might be interested or might already know that the original Made In Heaven was only a single album on cream coloured vinyl. It does include those nice three posters. Keep collecting and keep drumming. I hope you get everything and have a feeling you will. Great stuff!

Another Queen album you should try to find: A Night at the Odeon. It was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon on Christmas Eve, 1975. That show was simulcasted on BBC Radio and TV. It's my favorite live Queen album, imho. (The DVD version is really good, too!)

I love it!!!!! The only vinyl I want is A night at the opera!!! I have The Game, Hot Space, and the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack vinyl. I wish I had all those vinyls you’re so lucky!!

I love queen my dad used to play queen in the car when we went on holiday. A few months ago I put a load of stuff a no longer wanted through auction, when I went to collect the stuff that didn’t sell the auctioneer gave me on 1990s Sony record player then a few weeks ago I found a 197 vinyls in a skip of which was lots of queen. I was almost shaking when found them such I nice find. 👍👍

plus i have the live at wembley too it was given to me buy another Queen fan that went to see them at wembley and he purchased it and gave it to me when he didn't want it
What a great collection, you are very lucky, all my Queen album's are on tape, yes it was when walkman's were cool, I remember buying sheer heart attack for £3.99 from Woolworths...Yes a long time ago. Vinyl and tape sound so much better than cd's and mp3's. Great video Sally.

kissy-iggy poo, Blair rules. If you know, you know. I bought ALL the albums and Freddies as new releases, recorded to cassette on first play, never to be played again. Plastic sleeved, put away. Left to my daughter in my will. Night at the opera white vinyl- fave. Miss you Freddie. Happy retirement John x

Hi Sally, Great Video! I also have It's a Kind of Magic on Vinyl. I loved that Album to death growing up. Princess of the Universe, One Year of Love and Who wants to live forever. Oh, the memories listening to these songs over and over again. Yes I'm a Queen fan too. And I loved BoRap (although I wanted to see more depth in Freddie's character). You have a great collection. My collection is assorted...a bit of Elton,Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby, Paul Simon, Whitney etc. and lot's of soundtracks and 12 inch dance singles. Growing up in the 80's was the best ever. I was even a break dancer 😜, Anyhoo, great collection. Do you play them? I play mine sometimes. I have a cool turntable. I did a video on it a while back. All my queen music is greatest hits CD's. Elton on the other hand....it's like you with your queen stuff. 😉
Thanks for your kind words John. I still play all of them on my turntable - more than CD and digital format - there’s something about the old fashioned retro sound that turntables give on the originals. I even have my mum and dad’s old Elton John vinyls like Captain Fantastic, Greatest Hits and Yellow Brick Road. Oh Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel I have all of my mum and dads old ones of theirs too ❤️❤️ I loooove vinyls 😊

Queen is my all-time favorite band. Jazz is my #1 favorite studio album. Bicycle race is my favorite song. A Night At The Opera is my #2 favorite album, and Hot Space is my #3. Live Killers is my favorite live album. This is actually the album that got me into listening to 8 track tapes. I'm always listening to Queen. I have every studio album, every live album, every soundtrack, and almost every compilation album.

I have been trying to find an original vinyl album of Hot space. Like gold dust compared to finding the others. I am one of the few that actually likes the album too 😲😀
I only recently started my own collection. I bought Queen II first, then Queen, then the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack. My parents also owned three other albums (including Night at the Opera, which might be my favorite Queen album). Vinyls are just so cool :)
Since writing this, I've bought four other Queen albums, and none of them are originals. I went to two different record shops and a flea market and the only original thing I got was Another One Bites the Dust/Don't Try Suicide. I really wish I knew where to go to get original vinyls, because it seems like no one near me sells them :(

The second hand record shop was a God send to me in the 1980s, Plastic Surgury was a small space in Heaven, I have had many a bargain of Queen vinyl in that shop, it sadly no longer exists but my records do.

I have the very first album, A Night at the Opera, News of the World, Live Killers, The Game and the 12 inch single of Radio Gaga. Almost all of them under or near 20 bucks used and they play AMAZING!! (Dying to get the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack on Vinyl and just the whole Queen catalog in general XD) And what an amazing collection you have too :D
In vynile I'm coming to have Queen II my favourite album as you and I have in CD I have A Night at the Opera and News of the World.
Iv got the made in heaven on white vynal with the 3 posters belonged to my uncle who passed away years ago and it got passed down to me great album

Great collection. Pretty damn jealous that you've got all those original pressings! Just in case no one else has mentioned it - a little pedantic word about vinyl terminology from an old fart who lived through it all. LP stands for "Long Playing". Singles are by definition not LPs. Albums are LPs. EP stands for "Extend Play" and they would have a few songs, maybe 3 or 4. 12 inch singles are usually extended mixes. Singles are also called 45's because they play at 45 rpm, instead of 33 1/3 rpm for LPs. A single is just that, one song, on a 7 inch disc. On the A side is the single, and on the B. side (or flip side) will be another song. Sometimes you get double A sides where both songs were entered into the singles chart. Obviously there were separate charts for singles and albums. Then of course you have double albums, and sometimes albums with multiple discs (usually live albums). And I think that's it for vinyl terminology from back in the day. Love, love, love vinyl. It just sounds better! Looks better too.

Anyone who says the music loses something or isnt as good on vinal, apparently doesnt know this concept was disproven ages ago.
Modern recording processes only places the sounds detectable to human ears onto CD or digital format, but the old way of doing things onto vinal included every sound frequency produced. So while you cant hear every sound and note on a vinal, your body can still sense them via vibrations detected by the nervous system.
For this reason, listening to a live recording on vinal is in every sense exactly the same as going to a concert . :)

What I find weird about Queen is that when they recorded a music video, 3 of the members are dressed in casual wear (leather jacket, jeans etc..) and 1 member (usually John) dresses in smart clothes (Jumper, Shirt and Tie)

I’m really surprised that you have an original Queen I Vinyl since I heard it’s rare to find an original of it. I recently bought my first vinyl and I thought I would start it right when I found a rare original Queen I album at my local vinyl shop. There’s actually another vinyl shop in my town that has three original vinyls of “The Works” and an original Vinyl of Brian’s solo work.
Yeah well I was sister that my sister found Queen I - it was from a second hand vinyl shop so very lucky
