@@rdalgewell one solution would be to have a government that isn't a two party system, so that way you CAN be in the middle. And guess what? Those already exist. Called parliamentary democracy. It's not perfect but its better than a two party system. The sad part is it will never happen, unless under the current government. Only after collapse or revolution will we be able to rebuild a better government.

Politiker sollten meiner Meinung nach nicht lustig sein oder Spaß haben (wobei Obama das relativ stilvoll vermittelt hat), sondern in erster Linie Professionalität und Vertrauenswürdigkeit ausstrahlen. In the US I have seen the same phenomenon where a surprising number of folks view anyone on the right of Biden as a communist/socialist. There are folks here who think Bernie is a full-blown socialist. Some even call Biden a communist.

Also the party that has repeated and currently is fighting tooth and nail to stop any green initiative to clean up our grid and transportation. Because there are no dems equipped with the logic or morality. It's a Godless ideology that'thinks slaughtering babies in the womb is "liberating" and thinks boys can be girls. It's what happens when one rejects general revelation, hardens thier heart through the sin and the promotion of it. The far left is evil.
He literally endorsed Andrew Yang. He has advocated for universal basic income for years, he left Trump's advisory board in disgust (which he only sat on to advocate for EVs and Green Energy) after Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Accords. He also repeatedly says that he thinks regulatory agencies are absolutely essential, despite frustrations with how many have disproportionately gone after his companies (i.e. FAA holding SpaceX to much harder standards than ULA or the other automotive companies remaining open during COVID while the Tesla plant in Fremont had to close). You know who hates Elon more than AOC? Northup Grumman, Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, ULA, an the entire military industrial complex who have lost their endless cost-plus-contract profits to SpaceX. You know who hates Elon more than Bernie? Exxon, Shell, Chevron, BP, Consumer's Energy, General Electric, the electric company monopolies and the entire fossil fuel industry that is threatened by Tesla Energy. You know who hates Elon more than the Washington Post? Ford, GM, Chrysler, and the entire automotive industry that, for decades, refused to build electric transit (and then, even when it did, it recalled and impounded them).
I think of Elon like FDR's "un-endorsement list" and "Judge me by the enemies I have made" speech. I keep hearing how "Conservative" Elon is, but I don't agree in the macro sense. I am VERY progressive on most issues. I voted for Bernie twice. And I don't agree with Elon on a lot of things...government "functioning like a corporation" for one. Labor rights, for two. Which voices exactly are getting censored (I think progressives get it as bad as any far right commentators). But I strongly reject the idea that Elon is some right wing stooge...he's definitely got his own thing going on. Some of it, terrible, and some of it absolutely incredible.
Not sure what your affiliation with Starbucks is, but maybe you should look to the collective bargaining rights of your own workers before commenting on anyone else "right wing agenda."

The influx of migrants caused by climate change, war and poverty exacerbates these trends. It leads to the rise of hyper nationalism that infected Germany after world War I.

With employees it was easy to build the biggest ev manufacturer, most valuable car company, biggest charging network, safest cars, 3rd biggest battery storage manufacturer and one of the leaders in AI. That few tens of million tons co2 emissions avoided also means nothing, everybody could have done it who had a fewhundred millions that time, and they definetly would have risk all of it for these sure things.

I hate to say this, yet isnt that part of the job expectation of working in highend engineering that pays really well? That injuries happen sometimes?
Perhaps they have a bit of recklessness going on at SpaceX and that should be addressed...yet tbh: many people would still want to work at SpaceX even knowing they could die on their way to space, or they actually would lose a leg or something in the next few years.
What kind of serious injuries have occurred there? Were they preventable without making the company too inefficient to survive? Is the fault in individuals or the corporate culture of recklessness?
I would rather work at SpaceX than a meat packing plant tbh. Those places often treat their employees like slaves, and are often very abusive with absurdly high accident rates. (You cut off your finger? That sucks. We arent paying for the doctors to re-attach it. Stuff like that.)

@@stevenobrien557 well, off the top of my head, he banned multiple reporters from twitter. ones that were critical of him. he also banned ElonJet multiple times, and for awhile it was only ElonJet, while all the jet tracking accounts for other celebs, rich people, and rulers, were all still up. They were only also brought down when people pointed out the hypocrisy.
Also note that jet information is public knowledge. there wasn't anything special going on. he simply took information for flights from a public website and transferred it to twitter.
