മാരുതിയുടെ കമ്പനി സർവ്വീസ് സെന്ററില്‍ എന്റെ കാറിന്റെ വയറിങ് എലി കടിച്ചത് കാണിച്ചപ്പോൾ 10 രൂപയുടെ സെല്ലോടേപ്പ് ഒട്ടിച്ച് തീര്‍ക്കാവുന്ന കാര്യം ആണെന്ന് കണ്ടു മനസ്സിലായിട്ടും OBD സ്കാന്‍ ചെയ്ത് ടേയ്പ്പും ഒട്ടിച്ച് 1000 രൂപക്ക് മുകളില്‍ ബില്ലും ചെയ്തു തന്നു. അതോടെ അവരുമായുള്ള ബിസിനസ്സ് എന്നെന്നേക്കുമായി അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു.
As a major Maruti Car club, for the last 5 years, In a month, around 100+ services are done through our club at various authorized dealership networks in Kerala, TN & Karnataka. Even though we 100% agree with the your points, there were practical situations we came across, where some dealerships (or some of their employees) who work without any ethics at all. As a club, we easily over comes those problems, but it is difficult for an individual customer and obviously he switches to local workshops, were he gets good attention & behavior . His work may suffer due to the lack of infrastructure & skilled workmanship as you mentioned, but as a human, customer will be more satisfied..!! We feel it is high time, Maruti & its dealerships include some psychologically oriented trainings also, apart from routine technical trainings.... 🙏

ഞാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങൾ:
Vehicle maintenance schedule അനുസരിച്ചു check list വെച്ച് വണ്ടി പണിയുവാൻ authorized സർവീസ് സെന്ററിന് കഴിയും, eg: timing chain/belt, amt fluids and connected parts, high-pressure fuel pumps, injector service, coolants service etc.
എന്നാൽ,
താഴെ പറയുന്ന സർവീസുകൾ വളരെ ലേറ്റ് ആയിട്ടാണ് maintenace schedule ഇൽ സാധാരണ കാണപ്പെടുന്നത്,
എയർഫിൽറ്റർസ് : maximum 5-7k km in general kerala urban roads, (if light not visible through air Filters-especially paper type element-the specific air filter fail to pass oxygen entry too- mostly diesel smoke residues seems similar property of greece like deposit which can't clean by air cleaning resulting increased engine heating and mileage drop plus darken engine oil due to high carbon deposits before service due date)
Diesel filters :
Generally diesel filters shouldn't run more than 20k km's in current situation. But this seems skips now a days from agency service.
EGR:
Usually EGR cleaning not performed in authorized service centers as a regular practice, Can't perform well after 25-30 k km's if its not cleaned. Many customers pointed as about service centres across kerala with this complaint except few.
Sensor cleaning:
If customer raised concern related mileage tune-up or smokes, Authorised service centers rarely look in to MAF & MAP for cleaning usually after 25k km's & deposits can be found. This is better for fuel efficiency and pollution betterment too.
Authorized service centers interested only for replace these unless if it died or perform malfunction. This seems very common.
Ignition coil malfunctions:
Usually authorized service centers have low eye on this case and many vehicles seen with such cases after service.
Battery terminal contact:
This cleaning should perform if the vehicles battery seems with sulphonate deposit, also battery meter to use for alternator health vs battery,
Many after service vehicle seen with this sort of complaints unresolved.
O2, sensors :
Further to customers claim on mileage drop, O2 sensors found un identified in some vehicles released from authorized service centers.
Also vehicle owners are not informed about clutch efficiency in such cases which can be related mostly.
Oil sump strainer cleaning:
Many vehicles those have high sledge affected should undergo for oil sump strainer cleaning for better oil circulation with a high detergent engine oil recommendation to dissolve such sledges , this seems very rarely from service centres nowadays.
Life time gear oil strategy:
Many agency serviced vehicles found gearbox clashed due to this type of oil. This can be avoided.
This is a serious issue i have ever seen.
Throttle Body cleaning :
With a sensor safe spray, easily could perform throttle body cleaning for vehicles have slight abnormal vibration, low accelerator response, low mileage.
This can be regularized in agency service.

എന്തായാലും authorised സർവീസ് തന്നെയാണ് നല്ലത്.... ആളുകൾ അപ്പപ്പോ ചിലവാകുന്ന മുടക്ക് മാത്രമേ കണക്കിൽ എടുക്കൊന്നൊള്ളു..... ഓരോ സർവീസ് കഴിയുമ്പോളും വണ്ടിയുടെ അവസ്ഥ ഒരുപാട് ആളുകൾ മൈൻഡ് ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല... അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അറിവില്ലായ്മ കൊണ്ട് അറിയാതെ പോകുന്നു.... ലോങ്ങ് ടെമിൽ വണ്ടി പക്കാ കണ്ടിഷൻ ആയി കിടക്കണമെങ്കിൽ സർവീസ് authorised തന്നെ ആവണം.... എന്റെ അനുഭവം അതാണ്...
മരുതിയിൽ എന്റെ വണ്ടിയുടെ പെട്രോൾ വരെ അടിച്ചു മാറ്റി. സർവീസ് ചെയുന്നത് കാണാൻ പറ്റില്ല. ലോക്കലിൽ നമുക്ക് അവർ ചെയുന്നത് കാണാം. കുറച്ചു അറിവ് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.
ഡീലർമാർ സർവീസ് സെന്റർ നടത്തുന്നത് തന്നെ വണ്ടി മേടിച്ചവരിൽ നിന്ന് പൈസ ഉണ്ടാകാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണ്. അവരുടെ പക്കലിൽ നിന്ന് ഉണ്ടായ അനുഭവങ്ങൾ ഒരു ലോഡ് ഉണ്ട് പറയാൻ.ഒറ്റ വാക്കിൽ ചുരുക്കി പറഞ്ഞാൽ വെറും 10 രൂപ കൊണ്ട് വെടിപ്പായി നന്നാക്കാവുന്ന ഒരു complent ന് പതിനായിരം രൂപ വാങ്ങിച്ചിട്ടെ അത് സോൾവ് ചെയ്ത് തരൂ. അനുഭവം

Hi my car is alto k10 vxi amt 2016 model run 80000 km. Now the battery indicator is lit in cluster meter. The battery is new and charging voltage is also coming fine. When i went to service centre they checked with computer and tried to clear the error but they couldnt and are saying the main control board fault. Actually the indicator started coming after my last periodic service.pls help

Ipol mazha thudangiyapol same issue. 2 service cheythullu, 2 timum delivery timil kanade aeunnu vandi, arko vendi wash cheyynnu, under body wash cheyilla. Najan avide last clear cheyan poyapol inside workshop kettandi vannu avarku, in my experiance at that service centre 1.most mechanic dont have experiance. 2.Lack of tools. 3. No Cctv. 4. Careless working culture.

You are 100% correct.. Last 14 years, i am servicing my swift and for the last 16 years my Maruti 800 is servicing in MAS. No issues so far. One of the major positive thing is, if something goes wrong, we can complain directly to Maruti Suzuki and within no time, Service centre will address the issue and resolve the same. But in local, we can;t do that and Maruti suzuki won;t accept if we done the sevice in local workshop.
That's good 👍 but if you're doing in a mass it's more better and benifit to go for a Dealership Workshop.. because if there's any warranty issue the always ask to go to the dealership workshop itself.. but your swift is About 14 year's so it won't make any problem..
