    Do you paint to music? Does the music alter how you paint? What music do you prefer or is it random? Thank you 😀

    Wow! He has the same approach as me, music and all! I normally play smooth jazz, acid jazz, or old funk and rnb. Im abstract as well but my style is different than yours, I respect and love his style as well tho. Peace and love from Oakland CA ✌✌✌

    this is absolutely gorgeous!! you've got my mind racing now :) thanks for that! It's just the thing I needed to tackle my 1 large canvas that I've been afraid of messing up...
    may I ask how you keep your paint from drying out for so long? I have such a hard time with that.
    I also have no clue how you keep your palette so clean and organized! all of it, just amazing :) thank you for all the work it takes to do this... I appreciate it more then these words can express :)
    thanks again!
    Jade

    • @davidm.kesslerfineart1717
      @davidm.kesslerfineart1717  Před rokem

      Jade, I put out very large amounts of paint on my palette and paint very fast - that’s why the paint doesn’t dry out. An organized palette is an organized painting. Thanks for watching.

    Awesome painting. I recognise most of the Colors, but the first one I can’t figure out. It’s like a really deep blue-gray. Is it a custom mixture? Thanks:)

    I try to do the same, but my colors get all blended n mixed..the colors just dont stay as they are.. what am I missing? Brushes? Colors? Should we use very thick paint? BTW ur awesome!!

    • @davidm.kesslerfineart1717
      @davidm.kesslerfineart1717  Před 5 lety

      bhagy n thank you! I think it takes lots of practice to get a good balance using acrylics. What helps me to avoid mudiness is to use a different brush for each color. If you can’t afford that, just make sure to clean your brushes out well between the application of color.

    How is the jump from student grade paint to professional grade paint? I'd like to know how you felt when you first used professional paint, because I'm hoping there's a big wow factor when switching :)

      There is a night and day difference. I was blown away by the difference. Much better and richer color, more intensity. It changes the way you mix color.
