@@randytyson. No way man. Sega North America made far too many mistakes. Look at all of the cancelled consoles here and how the Genesis add ons, Saturn, and Dreamcast turned out. They simply couldn't go on with how they had handled business by the time they released Dreamcast.

Here's the kicker though; another video I saw from Gaming Historian showed how after the Phillips betrayal, Sony went to Sega over their mutual dislike of Nintendo. Sega of America said yes, but were vetoed by Sega of Japan who said no, because "Sony can't make good software or hardware."
And then PS1 dominated sales and then the PS2 killed the Dreamcast.
