Gonna say the same thing I say to many covers of this good song:
This is a really good cover, _but_ only in the Pacifist runs. Not a lot of cover artists remember that this song is supposed to play during the Genocide battles, too. In which case, this rendition sounds _way_ too happy and jovial for being the background music of a slaughter-fest. Would be a lot better if both sides of that gameplay were represented in a cover.

It's arguable that the original is a bit too cheery for the genocide run as well. The fights in the genocide run don't really last that long so the music doesn't seem to be made to accommodate it. In fact, I think the way the shorter fights cut off the fun energetic music so soon is part of how the genocide run creates it's atmosphere.

That’s what I kinda liked about Bits and Pieces (before the lead dev was revealed to be a pedophile). There was an alternate fight track for the Genocide route that fit very well.
