Bahria Town Karachi, Government of Sindh & Sindh Mass Transit Authority join forces to inaugurate a new route of People’s Electric Bus Service
Electric bus service karachi
Bahria Town Karachi, the Government of Sindh, and Sindh Mass Transit Authority collaborated to establish a much-needed route for the People’s Electric Bus Service. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the Secretary to the Government of Sindh Transport & Mass Transit Department, Mr. Abdul Haleem Shaikh along with distinguished members of Sindh Mass Transit Authority, management and residents of Bahria Town Karachi, and honorable members of the media.
This new route will ensure ease of commute between Bahria Town Karachi and Malir Halt from where passengers will get connected to other routes of the People’s Bus Service network. The latest model of electric buses offers ease in commute, comfort, and nominal fare hence benefitting the public in more ways than one.
The government of Sindh Mass Transit Plan will have far-reaching impacts and positive implications on the transport system of the city and with the inauguration of this route of People’s Bus Service, the residents of BTK and the general public will reap the benefit.

Yes but its not computerized and sometimes they are not willing to give tickets. Corruption finish nahi ho sakti allah raham karay. Like Dubai they should have card / pass system to stop corruption. Thanks sir.

sirf doors button say khultay hain wanra wo bhi hum log haat say hi khool rahay hotay. I travelled a lot in dubai buses and the system i saw was fully computerized with card and camera system. But here if there is no corruption, corrupt people think they will die. Thanks .

Dear the big issues are health facilities electricity water and gas internet transportation education let's take it one by one
1 as I heard it is permitted now without any restrictions in kw you can install solar system at your residence house of course not in apartments which is also not possible also complicated
By installing solar system in your villa It will solve your electricity problem per unit cost also you can use the excess power for electrical stove and for heating water electrical geysers or solar geysers
It is very important where is the position there must be a internet availability this is the issue
After the completion of Malir expressway and the new bus service also address this problem now we talk about education in this area there is a lot of potential because it is very near to education city and after the completion of Mali Expressway a lot of institution will be open in education city where the hospitals and education facilities going to be available
If the management give permission to do boarding for water in Big lots like 500 1000 2,000 It will also increase the people to move into this area because water is also unnecessity also if it is too expensive It is a hurdle
Wherever position is available it is necessary to give internet with the possession
After my malir expressway DHA is also an option and the investment will split and then maybe rules are relaxed to Make it feasible to live in this area also other societies are available for the end user whoever adopt the people will move there because of the inflation it is now a question of survival and also cost Many thanks

Why Rs. 100/- ticket on an Electric Bus? its a Govt owned service , why the fare is so high and not around Rs.50/- only where ever you go ??
Because its fully air-conditioned bus. From Bahria to Malir it looks ok. Within bahria it's 50 rs.

If there is no plastic card to pay the fare this bus will stop very soon they must have to install payment taking machines and issue a plastic card or payment card in order to run this service economically

@@Time0900 Yes there should be a prepaid card like we used in Dubai buses but this looks like a local bus. But ur suggestion is good for those who will travel on regular basis should get a card to avoid corruption or to minimize the level of corruption.
@@connectwithzafar Bahria Town management will take care of it and the root is very short also if this bus service will not run well it is not a good news for bahria town so I think they will take care and everything will be run smoothly maybe it is the beginning after some time they will install the prepaid card machine and cards are also available but it is also a hassle if somebody don't have the card still he can pay cash and travel for the car travel maybe they give some discount and for the cash they charge more then it is effective way so people should use the prepaid card Many thanks

I agree with you. Karachi is the main hub and like the backbone of Pakistan from where revenue is generated. But the actual issue is political. Like big parties of Sindh are not interested in the development of this city as well as not interested in the future of Karachi people. See the current situation. Allah Pak Reham Farmaye. Watch my gorakh hill video and you will raise your hands against the Govt. No roads, no infrastructure for such an amazing and beautiful place.
