Bahria Town Karachi, Government of Sindh & Sindh Mass Transit Authority join forces to inaugurate a new route of People’s Electric Bus Service
Bahria Town Karachi, the Government of Sindh, and Sindh Mass Transit Authority collaborated to establish a much-needed route for the People’s Electric Bus Service. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the Secretary to the Government of Sindh Transport & Mass Transit Department, Mr. Abdul Haleem Shaikh along with distinguished members of Sindh Mass Transit Authority, management and residents of Bahria Town Karachi, and honorable members of the media.
This new route will ensure ease of commute between Bahria Town Karachi and Malir Halt from where passengers will get connected to other routes of the People’s Bus Service network. The latest model of electric buses offers ease in commute, comfort, and nominal fare hence benefitting the public in more ways than one.
The residents and the crowd present at the event cheered and welcomed the efforts undertaken by the management of Bahria Town Karachi and the Government of Sindh to bring much-needed options for commuting.
A resident of Bahria Town Karachi Mr. Yousuf said that these public-friendly initiatives taken by Bahria Town Karachi and the Government of Sindh are introducing facilities at all levels.”
A guest at the event Mr. Hamid said that the People’s Bus Service was the need of the time for public commuting between Karachi and Bahria Town who will now be able to commute in a clean and quality environment.”
The government of Sindh Mass Transit Plan will have far-reaching impacts and positive implications on the transport system of the city and with the inauguration of this route of People’s Bus Service, the residents of BTK and the general public will reap the benefit.

Dear ye govt aur bahria ka muahida hua hai aur bahria nay charging station aur bus stop bana kar dia hai. DHA management can also talk to govt of sindh but they need to provide the same facilities for theae electric buses.

No now bahria is not providing bus service this service is by Govt of sindh and bahria is facilitating them inside bahria with charging system and bus stop. In future i hope they will start a bus service to sohrab goth and then saddar.

I travelled yesterday from Malir Halt to Bahria and back via these buses. Buses are awesome. But I had to wait for one hour in Bahria as there was no bus at around 8 PM. I think their service becomes very slow after 7PM. These buses are like a blessing for people of Karachi who travel inter city daily. You relax and enjoy your journey as they have chilled AC inside and cool fragrance. You just feel like you're travelling in Europe. This project is from Federal govt but run by Sindh govt which both are sharing in federal too. So thanks a lot and we hope they continue working more to make the life easier in Pakistan and Karachi.

A very difficult question. As per my information this was a contract between bahria and sindh govt and bahria provided the land for bus station. But who was the Vendor only bahria management knows. 🤔

Aray bhai bata tu di hai k every 15 minutes kay baad chalti hai means 12 pm kay baad 12:15 pe milay gi. 9 am kay baad 9:15 am pe milay gi etc. Thanks and sunday ko bhi chaly gi. Transport bhi kabhi sunday ko band hui hai ?

ملیر ہالٹ سے بحریہ تک کتنے کون کون سے سٹاپ ہیں اور انکا نام کیا ہے دن میں کن کن اوقات پر اپ اور ڈاؤن بسیں مل سکتی ہیں. مزید یہ کہ سہراب گوٹھ واٹر پمپ لیاقت آباد گرومندر و ٹاور کے راستے پر کب یہ بسیں چلیں گی اور نارتھ کے راستے باقی شہر پر پروگرام ہے یا نہیں
