Birthday Cake - Miniature Polymer Clay Tutorial

- Showing you how to make 2 miniature cakes using polymer clay. One is vanilla (yellow cake), and the other is confetti cake. I used fake confetti sugar made of pre-baked and chopped clay.
I baked the cakes at a lower temperature so that they wouldn't burn (200 Degrees F).

I love how in the beginning, we are admiring the cakes and then "BIRTHDAY CAKE" just pops up...lol
I like the fact that you didn't use a circle cutter and they look as if you did perfect! Lol
When I first saw this video I was like "Cool I should take my bake lessons from this tutorial." But when I watched it I had no idea it was made out of clay. But I think it's cute that's why I subscribed to her channel. And I know, why didn't I read the text of the video, who reads these days! Technology already made talking text things. But if I had read the video discription, I would of never had subscribed! Am I right?!

but Fimo Deco Gel some people its a substitute for it and more clear also can make water effect, and its can be used to glue clay together but can it work as a glaze too ? or u stil have to glaze it and another thing can i color my glaze with powder colors or pastel chalks ?

How do you make the clay so thick but perfect? Do you use a glaze? What kind of clay do you use because i use sculpy and it says to cook it at 275 for 15 mins... so should i turn it down to 200?? Please help!!!

Hi Toni, have you ever tried using a heat gun to harden certain parts that you add before doing a final bake? This is a method I use when I just need to make a certain pieces hard enough so it doesn't get distorted while I work on the rest. Just curious.
