(Impulse violin buying at its best) Then life got in the way, then more travel, and started watching more of your CZcams in 2020, and got my student violin a couple months ago. Anywho, sorry to ramble, wish me luck!

Hi dear, I bought my violin few weeks ago and I am seeing ur videos in order to gain some knowledge. I havent even set my violin till now because my e string got snapped and till I buy a new string my violin will not be set. Dear, u have told in the video not to touch the white horse hair ; but I want to ask after practicing the violin should I keep that bow again to case in that plastic covering in order to avoid it touching the surface ?
Mam when I am playing open strings on my violin I find that I am not able to play d string correctly as it is hitting g and a string . I have seen your lesson 5 yesterday .I think practice will make me play d string .what u think?
You're new, so some string hitting is to be expected. However, if your violin is not set up properly and it is quite a cheap one, its likely the bridge will need altering and angled as they often don't come angled enough and too flat - therefore you will hit the strings no matter what.
Its not going to be the best im afraid. It will likely be quite heavy and therefore uncomfortable, the bridge will not be curved correctly - meaning you will hit a lot of the other strings unintentionally, and the sound/tone wont be the best - nasally most likely. Cheap violins are always a false economy. Although they are cheap and you are unsure of whether you will continue, you end up not progressing well and giving up because the violin hinders you. Saving up for a better one, or renting one for a few months would be a better alternative.
Alison, I learned bowing on violin today. My all strings except e are sounding great but only e string is the one which sound so sharp on violin when bowed. What should I do now?
Dunno if you've solved this yet. I'm learning myself and struggle with the E string. I think the E string is just less forgiving than the others. Slightly wrong bow technique or slightly wrong note and it sounds like somebody has broken in and is murdering my cat...
Free advice - To sell something you have to be more concerned about the Buyers not yourself. Try to sell those books in the middle of the video, so that your subscribers won't Skip what you're saying. Keep it in the MIDDLE. And add more Humor. Thanks. With Love your Fan.

No need - just loosen the hair and place back in the case.

Im not really sure what is happening here as I cant see or hear you - sounds like your E string is not in tune perhaps?
