    Episode 98:
English Pop duo, Go West, followed their success of 1990's, "King Of Wishful Thinking", with a cover of the 1978 R&B hit, "What You Won't Do For Love". Soul singer, Bobby Caldwell, wrote the tune while preparing his debut release for TK records. The original peaked at #9 in the US, proving to be Caldwell's biggest success.
In 1990, Go West released Indian Summer, the duo's 3rd album, with the aforementioned lead single becoming a hit, thanks in part, to it being featured on the soundtrack for the film, Pretty Woman. Their treatment to Caldwell's tune is multi-layered and masterfully produced. Peter Cox's spot on vocals soar atop the top-notch musicianship featured within the track.
OTW is engineered and mixed by Richard Williams @ Plum Tree Recording Studio.
One Take Weekly aims to present a sneak peek inside a studio recording session, each track performed and filmed in one take - imperfections & all. No overdubs, NO AUTOTUNE, and no trick-photography! (Just good mixing...& my nearly inept video editing skills) What you see is what you hear - CE.
