- In his latest club update, Director of Football, Simon Wilson reflects on County's first EFL title win in 57 years, before looking ahead to life in League One next season.
I was one of simon Wilson's critics when he brought Rusk in but I hold my hands up - he has done an excellent job since those days. The set-up at County now is the best I have ever seen it in all my 62 years supporting the Hatters. Simon may be relaxed about this coming season's targets but I am sure Chally will be aiming for playoffs at least!👏
So much to look forward to at County. Like SW says, let's just enjoy the ride.
It’s good that new signings whether permanent or loans are expected. I get the feeling that a second goalkeeper will be a season long loan target.

Yes, great value with only a minimal increase.
I understand the youth policy model but I'd feel more comfortable with a few players with Championship experience.
He was behind the sacking of Jim in of course he was going to get criticism for that considering the last 12 year of miss management,
however 2 league titles a playoff final and some incredible players brought it Wilson knows that he’s doing clearly so that risk has majorly paid off big time the last 5 transfers windows won me over.
To be fair to Wilson, the decision to sack Gannon was a collective one, Wilson gets the stick because he pulled the trigger but there were others who took part in the decision.

Simon has a vision which aligns with DC. He should be working at a much higher level club, so we should be extremely grateful that we have someone of his calibre
