Step 2. Lubricate the machine
Step 3. Stabalize the fuel
Step 4. Protect the inside of the carburetor and engine
Step 5. Protect the exterior of the engine from water ingress

I do pretty much the same as you . Everything gets cleaned and lubed. I also drain the fuel tank and carb bowl (I use ethanol free gas in all of my equipment ) Then I cover it with the form fit cover and put it in my shed on one side so it's out of the way for the mower etc. Great video Doug with great tips . Top the fuel off, run some stabilizer through it, clean it and call it a day.
