Julie, I can’t believe how much pleasure I get from your videos! I’m 74, & live with my 50 year-old son & 7 year-old granddaughter. I’ve been cooking dinners for 50 years, & I’m really kind of over it 😉. I started cooking back when there wasn’t much in the way of convenience foods, & I do try to stick with unpressed foods. So many of your recipes use simple ingredients with the addition of convenience foods that aren’t overly processed but really add flavor & make cooking much easier on my old. bones. Thank you!
Barmar , I was telling my sister the same thing yesterday. I’m 73 and have been cooking and doing housework since I was 10! I’m done with it all, but my husband still expects home cooking. When I’m in the mood I cook great. I’ll try some of these recipes, but he is very picky!

Hi! I enjoy your upbeat and cheerful videos. I haven't viewed one recipe I wouldn't eat as they all look very good.
That's exactly why I started following her a couple of years ago. She also has so many different styles and ways to cook. More than I've seen other creators have. Whether it's 25 meals for $5 per meal, 10 minute quick meals, crockpot meals, sheet pan meals, casseroles, or meals that take a little longer. I love that she doesn't use a lot of processed foods and she's pretty budget friendly. I'm a 43 year old who is also disabled and unable to work because of pressure wounds. I live on a limited income, and her videos inspire me a lot. I'm seriously going to get a notebook and write down as many of her recipes that I like as I can. I'm also planning on buying her cookbook. I've sent multiple links to my mom and other family and friends. I've been watching her videos since about 9pm last night. Lol. I'm not even watching TV shows that I recorded. 😂

Julie, thanks for your reply. I live with my 94 yr young mother where parent/adult child roles are now reversing. Mom was a Home Ec major in college so our kitchen has been full of the best foods. Now I, in my novice skills have taken on many of the meals from breakfast to dinner. It's new but so far so good. Tomorrow is your meatloaf, redskins potatoes and a salad. I made the apple dump cake today and she loves it so we'll have it for tomorrow as well. Thanks again for all your hard work. Jennifer

Boy, so many wonderful recipes and ideas! I've been cooking and baking for 62 years, ever since Dad taught me the basics when I was 8 y.o., and I'm a decent cook. So many of your recipes, though, Julia, I've never thought of, so they're very welcome to this septuagenarian woman.
I do have ideas, of course, for things I'd want to do, such as that fabulous grinder sandwich: provolone slices on one long half of the bread, swiss on the other, turkey slices, turkey pepperoni, tomatoes slices, and roast beef slices, topped with roasted garlic along the sandwich. Mine wouldn't be very big since I have only myself to feed (my neighbors, most of whom receive weekly meal boxes, Meals-on-Wheels, etc., are well taken care of, for which I'm very glad. In my faith, we live by the law of God, including making sure your neighbors aren't in want).
Just so many great ideas are bouncing around in my brain right now as I watch this, including adding onion powder to the broccoli-cheddar soup, and I might be "bold" enough to add some roasted garlic to it, too.
Yours is/are the only video(s) I can spend an hour+ watching (when it's a longer one, as today's is), and is/are the only cooking 'show' I can actually enjoy. Everyone else gets far too involved with the showing of every single bit of food being chopped, diced, boiled, sauteed, ad nauseum. I'm rather glad that you believe your viewers already know the basics of cooking, so we don't need to see all that. I know others of your viewers appreciate that feature, too, as I've seen it in the comments over and over again.
I'm also thankful for the recipes. I love trying something new without a huge fuss ❤

I just remembered something. You can add potato flakes to make it thicker too! It's for people who don't want to use flour or gluten! Just another idea!! Thanks again .... love theses!!!❤

I make beef stew like yours for years, but add 1/4 cup of dry tapioca at the beginning. This dissolves and thickens the broth as it cooks. Easy peasy. Look forward to trying more of your recipes. All of them I've tried so far have been big hits.

We make fajita burgers similar to your quesadilla burgers. It’s a cooked hamburger Patty seasoned with fajita seasonings put on a tortilla in the pan with sautéed peppers, onion, and cheese. The tortilla gets folded around the patty like a hamburger bun. We put whatever extras we wanted on it like toppings on a burger (guac, sour cream, salsa, etc). They’re really good.

I love the baked ravioli recipe. I ended up adding a bit to it. I added hamburger meat to mine seasoned with garlic and onion powder and instead of cooking my spinach before I just crumpled it up over the meat and ravioli. And I ended up using mozzarella and Colby jack cheese cus I didn't have enough of the mozzarella or any parmesan cheese. My hubby and my son loved it

@@JuliaPacheco me to and also thanks to your videos I will probably start buying more of the canned chicken, just cause that's gunna be cheaper anymore and you can do so much with I love doing quesadillas with canned chicken, fresh spinach, cavendars seasoning (it's a grill seasoning but I love using it on chicken, hamburgers, and especially with green beans I put butter and cavendars on them and it gives it amazing flavor.) And shredded cheese. Next time I go shopping I'm gunna get stuff and try the broccoli and chicken casserole you made. You have truly helped me save and become a better cook and got me starting to really think and not afraid to experiment on new recipes so thank you for sharing your videos

I really enjoyed the Recipes, I've made the Stuffed Peppers , I actually used Mild Rotel in that, and I like my peppers halved lengthwise ( personal preference, lol) and I've also made those with Organic grass fed ground beef and those are also delicious. Served with a salad topped with a Guacamole dressing...mmm mmm.
The Stir Fry looks good ! I'm so picky about " stir fry " dishes, lol.

I have to say I look forward to trying many of your inspired recipes😊. I came across your videos today and watched 3 back to back. I actually made the ravioli bake for dinner tonight. FANTASTIC! I used frozen ravioli because they were on sale. I did the whole recipe with frozen un- thawed rollies, and it came out amazing. We also had a batch done with frozen gluten free ravioli's and what a game changer. There is no way I would make gluten free ravioli any other way. Thanks so much for the inspiration. I can not wait to try more meals❤

Loved the pork chop recipe. That had to be my favorite. I love pork chops. We don’t have them often enough. And the cheeseburger quesadilla look great. There were really too many to choose from. But pork chops are still my fave. We have a little market close by. And they have the best meat. I’m going to get some of their pork chops to use for that recipe. My husband loves zucchini and mushrooms. So I could make that recipe for him. I’m not that big a fan of zucchini. I’m going to have to watch this again and pick out some more recipes to make this week. I make the goulash for our Christmas Eve recipe. I make one with meat and one without for the vegetarians in my family. And everyone loves it. It will probably be a pasta recipe. Those are another favorite of mine. And the grinder sandwiches would be a big hit at my house. I have some leftover mashed potatoes in my refrigerator right now. So part of one of the recipes is already made.
I do like that in a pan with the chef canned spinach and large curd cottage cheese...
