  • For Deepti Bhatnagar, travelling is her passion, following which she reached the island of paradise, Mauritius. The Mauritian cuisine has an Indian influence in it as Indian foods like Haleem, Dhol-Puri, Roti are easily found on the streets of Mauritius. History of Indian food has a very close connection with the cuisine of this place as Dal- Puri, which is a typical Indian dish can be easily found and it is said that this was the first dish to be introduced here by the Indians. Deepti Bhatnagar prepares the delicious Dal- Puri by mixing dal with the maida and then frying it, inside which tomato chutney made from tomato, garlic, ginger, onion, spinach curry and potato- pea curry is stuffed.
