Chis I have been following you now for a very long time and you can look at something that has to be done and you do it . From your very young life you have learned so much as you go down your road of life and it is so great to see how much you have learned man. Bless you and keep going.
boy you sure get some nice projects , course that's what happens when you take pride & do excellent work !!! thanks for the great vids & work ethic that built our country !!!
There's spray on bed liners that help to stop the dirt sticking to the bed also reduces wear.you could always get Jasonworksalot to make up some big hammers that swing under the bed so when the beds up you can drive alit and stand on the brake to get the hammers to swing and bang the bed to dislodge it!I always lay in the first few buckets as close to the floor as I can so I dosnt pack up!
About getting the last dirt out of the dumper-truck. What about bolting a couple of those large vibrating motors used for bins and hoppers to the outside of the bed of the truck? No idea if it would work, but who knows.
I have never operated machinery like this. I have always had the dream to, but never happened. Now almost 70, doubt that it will. Chris, you must use a wheel barrel to carry your junk! doing those slopes had my grommet puckered . then it would slide, crap, good video, most educational on the operation and how to slope. Man, my hat is off you guys that get to do this .
I know this might sound stupid and I know that opinions are like assholes but have you ever thought of renting an excavator for a day? Not a big one but a smaller one at a local renting shop or something. Just thought it would be a comparable experience.

Chris, don't get in a hurry to come to Florida. I live just south of jacksonville and today the high was in the 50's with strong, cold winds. Not shorts and sleeveless shirt weather.
You did a great job,,,!leave it natural!!!&wish you could bring in riprat &sm/pea gravel in 3' of Deepwater, for fish 🐟 like you do with stumps/& treetops !!! LOVE TO YOU&ALL IN YOUR HEART ❤!Thanks AGAIN FOR ALL YOU DO AND ALL IN YOUR HEART ❤
Hello sir. I used to have the same problem with mud sticking in the dumo bed, until I installed a bed vibrator. It cost me about $500 which included the installation. Mud don't stick no more!
Hell if they're gonna put a bridge in the middle later you might aswell make it wide enough for two-way traffic and add 6ft or so either side for trees, lol!
When you said "I need now to level those slopes" I said to myself Nah, he won't go on what, 12/12 pitch slope !? He'll flip it ! But damn, you did ! We could feel and see the back end of the dozer slip sliding downward. Man, you've got balls of steel !
I'm guessing the sound problem was related to the sound reduction some cameras have as a feature. Too loud and it cuts the sound back. I noticed the sound came back for a short time when he was idling. Something got tweaked in between turning the camera on and off, or it's as some have guessed....secret plans with Logger Wade! Thanks for the video.
Concrete culvert you put in for road is significantly lower than waters edge will ultimately be. Can u talk us through that in next vid at pond/ lake video ? Really happy your back on this job and happy fkr you that the rain seems to have subsided ! Lol.
What is the thinking behind the way you are grading with the dozer? I thought you would just windrow a few inches off the top, but you go directly to the side, I don't get it..
No vacation until the sound issues are fixed and tested. :D Have you ever done a video of smashing a camera with the big excavator bucket? Letterman used to do "Will It Float?" , maybe you could do "Will It Smash?". Liked as always.
No question is stupid if you just don't know; When moving this much earth why would a conveyer system not be more efficent than truck load after truck load? Love your videos, thanks
I know it's all center of balance however everytime I see a dozer sloping I wonder how in the helmet it does it without sliding down or tipping over. I've also only ever ran 1 dozer. And it was built in 1953 haha
Hey Chris thanks video what's going on with your uncle in your help or there on when you're on vacation do they have jobs or they shut her right down when you're gone
what degree of angle are you at? How much degree until you're "uncomfortable"? do you have a way to tell what angle the dozer is at? like a gage or level?
@@claybain2640 You always have to pay attention to what you are doing. But if you are using a tremble system on your equipment you can very precisely grade. Most basic equipment gives you the blade angles and chassis angles
@clay bain....In loose soil like he has its somewhat difficult to get a dozer to "ride" a 2h:1v slope (aka 50 percent grade or 26.57 degrees)....this steeper grade is usually done by taking the dozer up and down the slope with the machine at an approximate 45 degree angle to the path of the road. However a dozer will "ride" a 3h:1v slope (aka 33 1/3 percent grade or 18.43 degrees) while tracking parallel with the road alignment, which is what most mowable roadsides and dams are finished at.

Best videos so far when your doing slope grading, first time I've seen that and it's quite exciting. Thanks for your efforts!!.

You are no operation, you my friend, are an artist! Keep up the videos!
Enjoyed watching as I normally do. Little glitch with sound but that happens. Slope was a little steep and hard to work it looked like.
You're getting warm weather and up here in my part of Puget Sound we're having the worst winter weather we've has since the mid 90's. Ain't fair. :)

80 degrees in North Carolina and we here in Washington State are getting record breaking snow and low temps for us. Lol
Looks like Tim is on His learning Curve as to Grading such is Life.
Yup good material for what you are doing nice work
If I was tracking that slope in I’m sure I would have to change the seat in that dozer from the pucker factor lol
Here I was all excited for a new bigdeal18 video then randomly started going deaf.
That angle from the dozer looks spectaculair......nice job again !
Very nice video of bulldozer decreasing the backside slope . The engine did a nice job of telling us of the constant strain it took to move the dirt .
man thats gonna be beautiful when done , i can see it now all green & pond full , bridge etc. wow ! your a dirty artisteest lol !!!
No reason for Florida when you have those amazing temps! 🍻

How yards fit in bucket on your excavator? What size machine did you start on back when you started as a teen?

We just had the biggest winter storm that comes in every 10 years. And of course, you know in three days you get what we had.
Hey Chris
How long will it take to fill that dam ? with the light flow of that creek it will take years

It is a temporary drainage solution until they will let the pond fill up.
Did you have to edit out some sensitive discussion, or is that an unintended glitch?
He and Logger Wade were discussing top secret projects!
Chris...have you thought about upgrading the 30 dumper to a 40 or 45? It would seem to be a better match for the 250.
What is the thinking behind the way you are grading with the dozer? I thought you would just windrow a few inches off the top, but you go directly to the side, I don't get it..
I think even your microphone is fed up with hydraulic pump sound?
Chris, your explanation of the dam looked real interesting. Except there was no audio! Looking good.

What is with the dirt down there. Please help. Up here in Canada it’s funny colour.
Well it's like they say you can't get everything done right the first time...lol but good job Mr Chris.
does this Volvo excavator come with the front porch option to take your shoes off before you get in the cabin?
It looks like its back to normal on the 19th of February.
How long do you think it will take till someone slides off the road into the pond? Ron
Chris.....lost sound from 5:44 to 8:43 then again 10:00 to 12:41. Missed out on some of Guins Ramblings.
Wonder why it did that cause it came right back on out of no where
We missed some good splaining he was doing about the dam.
Maybe he hit a gas pocket.
might need an upgrade on the gopro or just give it a tappy tap tap
@@andrewneece8287 It was like a Noise Cancelling was sensitive. When the motors revved up the sound shut down.

How much fuel is use per day running 3 machines?
Good to know I'm not the only one with volume issues in this video.
Chris...what are your thoughts on the SDLG equipment???
how much height to you get from each truck load on this road project?
Line the bed of the adt with delrin or UHMW nothing will stick then and it prolongs the life of it
How warm is it there rn for u to have your door open?

Where you discussing the current 2020 President hopefuls or that new green policy ?
I’ve watched this video on 3 different devices and the sound has gone out on every one !! I only heard about 1/4 of the sound
You've got a big gap of no sound from around 5:40-12:30
when my gopro doe's the no audio i normal do a factory reset most of the time works in my situation
how deep is the pond going to be?
Hey Chris thanks video what's going on with your uncle in your help or there on when you're on vacation do they have jobs or they shut her right down when you're gone
Looking good
awesome grading job I didn't think your bulldozer would stay up on it
are you building that for a nascar driver?
Good video inspite of the audio. Are you any relation to Shoeless Joe Jackson?
8:40 sound comes back on
We don’t have Bojangles here in KS. I googled their menu and it looks legit. Always good to have tall iced beverage at the ready! #cupholdersquad
Red Gatorade over everything. Don’t @ me. #cupholdersquad
Watching your channel makes me realize how much I hate my job!
NSA censored Chris for giving out pond building secrets.
Technical Difficulties today Bro......lolo
That mans done kicked off his shoes
It could be that the auto-level of your microphone is muting your recordings. You can turn off that feature, if that is what the problem is.
It’s -10 in New York
What state are you located in?
Need an auto leveling seat in the dozer.
Liked the video bro
Chris, lost sound mate. Good picture though. Cheers!
Good dirt... just some good ole dirt bud lol
Some fine dirt bud...
It ain't no Chirt, but it will work!
Hey, logger Wade! Did you notice all the dirt in the video? Cuz there's alot of dirt in this video.
Christopher! Watch your languages! Their bleeping you out!!lol
The Dukes brothers would have just put a ramp on both sides!
what degree of angle are you at?

Most dozers and excavators have level sensors with readouts on the dash or secondary instrument panel.

You lost sound in a couple of places when you were explaining thing but overall great job that is big.
You need a conveyor. The time you can save just loading that and using it to move the dirt. This job would be ideal for one
Still going to give you a thumbs up....lol
