Hi, did you go with a longer shifter? If so which one? Thanks, Pat

Check the description, it was an IMS one.

@@Meekerextreme In another post someone mentioned IMS 312216. I think it is 1/2" longer than stock

Yes the IMS one is longer.

So, Mark, you swapped the stock PWK 38 copy carb for a real Keihin of the same size. What altitude did you jet for, and what size jets and needle setting
did you use? I'm gonna try to jet the stock carb first, and later I'll buy the Keihin with the JD kit is why I'm asking.
Thanks for your videos and help. Dave S.

I mention the Jet sizes int he video it's what should be in the carb because I haven't touched it since I toke it out of the GasGas way way way back. The TSE250R uses a copy of a mikuni carburetor from my understanding.

@@Meekerextreme Sorry, I thought you would have changed the jetting going to a smaller CC engine, I guess I mis-understood.
      Thanks for the reply!

Dave, the 2021 has the PWK stock. The 2021.5 have a Mikuni.

I’m looking at the 2021.5 FSE250E it is also using a carburetor. I’m also in CSprings. Did you order yours directly off the website? I haven’t found a local dealer... not even in Denver.
Do you think the carb is problematic here ?

I ordered direct. As for the carb it works but I'm trying other option as I happen to have those option.

I purchased a 2019 KTM 300 XC with 12 hours on it in perfect shape for $8,000. I see the china bike is about $5,000 plus shipping. So for $3K more you can get a real bike that is at the top of the line, no issues at all and has a premium suspension, premium tires, an engine designed to take just about anything, etc. compared to cheap china bike. When I sell the KTM in two years I will get just about all my money back with people lining up to buy it. Selling a cheap china bike might not even be possible and you will be buying parts and tweaking things forever trying to get it to work right. Just sayn'...

But it works just right, I'm only replacing stuff to help others out for CZcams reviews. Out of the box the bike works and most like 95% probably will never NEED to do anything. You do know your KTM has a LOT of Chinese parts on it right? So does your SmartPhone, or PC, your $50,000 cage. What is cheap Chinese? How did you end up on my video if you don't like motorcycles in general? What does it matter to YOU if someone saves some money and buys one of these that you can easily get parts for, that the importer is working with the manufacture to make changes to make the bike even that much better, can you call KTM and get that level of support? KTM's are far from a perfect brand or bike, I'd go with Yamaha as being light years more reliable then a KTM. Just saying...
