+Cedrik Hofmann I can do a 180, maybe a 360. Tried back flip once, landed on my neck. Didn't got hurt, it was a lot of powder under, hehe. I always dreamed of doing a back flip before I die. Done a front flip from 10m/32 feet, or a sort of flip, my rotation is so bad.

It does yeah. But I think that heavy post-production stabilization is involved too. They probably track him and manage to keep him at the center of the image. Nonetheless you can't achieve a result that good without a good, smooth-enough original video. (Looks a bit like the recent powerbeats pro video)

He probably used a real gimbal, but there might be some post production stabilization too.
@@emiliomillehercule3067 guess u're right. @orik thelin the gimbal doesn't have any tracking-function, it's just for stabilisation. Even if he used one... well yea it's still possible to film this accurate. If it's really filmed: even bigger props!! But probably there has been used a way to track him to stay in the middle of the frame in postproduction, or the slope where the filmer was riding was just behaving exactly the same as the rail he was riding on... I'd be curious how they did that, cuz i was looking exactly for this kind of comment :D
probably they planned this shot and they used a drone. because u can see in a shot a bit later, that there isn't any slope this close to ride on... So easy: take a tracking frame closer to the object than the original material, just smaller. "A film in your film" ^^

Look at how far skiing has come. How can it get any better than this? Today skiing is THE MOST awesome action sport. Nothing makes such acrobatic moves as this. Eat your heart out, skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, bmxing, etc. And this is coming from a guy who does them all.
+shitfaced1337 I think snowboarding is alway a bit more ahead (triples, now quad, and don't get me wrong, but I believe they created snowpark before the skiers.) But I prefer watch and do ski tricks.
MoonWalkerTexsRanger You could be right, but I've yet to see a finer example of park snowboarding than this, I think pro skiiers might go bigger on extreme downhill mountain jumps etc, too. I think snowboarding as an amateur is more fun than skiing.
+shitfaced1337 I think skiers have snowboarders beat on size of jump but think snowboarding jumps tend to look nicer as I find 2 skis to look messier than a single board, especially if the skier has poles too. Just too much going on to effect the form in the air.
Don't get me wrong though, both are awesome when done well.

+Zak Shantz reality check, Russ Henshaw did it (or at least published it) first. His was double cork on rail, but first double on though. Jesper totally did incredible job nevertheless!
Whoops, worded it wrong. I saw Russ Henshaw dub onto a rail first, but it was rusty and wack as fuck. Jesper was the first to do it smoothly.
Yeah no worries mate! That's true, but they were different tricks - dub cork might be harder to slay. But Jesper was smooth, hands down! I think that switch frontflip gapping was even iller, 'cause his tails practically kissed the press before landing it.. That was dope.
