He had so much AIR. I've seen some crazy jumps, but that's probably about as high as I've seen someone jump in free terrain.

Funny. That was the first part I noticed about the footy, but figured the mirror shot was taken at a different time the gopro footage was taken, then re-rendered. Sick riding for sure. Give the guy a helmet. ;-)... and more wings.

@@SyphlexGFX If you look carefully/slow it down/pause it, the synchronization actually isn´t perfect. The mirror image is a bit behind the FPV one. (Note the left hand, for example). Cool effect anyway!

+Thunderclap ...Sorry, Candide is a 33 year old male from France. He is a very gifted skier and also a filmmaker as seen here. Although there was a fair bit editing done here, the video looses nothing because of it...it's truly Amazing! Why all the nonsense?
In my life only two skiers have ever truly shocked and humbled me to witness their skiing in person, and they were both French mogul skiiers from the same small ski town: Edgar Grospiron and Candide here. Edgar in 95 when I was a jr and my team got to train with him pre-World Cup at Blkcomb, we'd never seen anything like him, and 48 hrs afterwards he busted the first ever quad jump at a WC, requiring new scoring rules (after much resistance from the FIS assholes) and setting the stage for the younger mogul skiiers who would go on to invent what we know as modern freeskiing/newschool, like what Candy does here. Got to see him live when he won Xgames pipe (I didnt even know he skiied contest pipe! And i was decades deep in the sport by then) and I seriously shat my mind when I saw him boost. Best all-round skiier of the past decade at LEAST.

It's suppose to be a funny segmrnt anyhow. And freeheel is the purest ski sport. Freeheelin is basically a work-out during the while journey.

+WoodVisuals He put a camera on the table and shot the clip of himself, put green (probably) tape/paper over the "mirror" and chroma-keyed the video clip into it which he then proceeded to motion track, then layered his hands over it to create the illusion of depth.

Ouffisime c'est un pur délire, je me suis quand meme poser la question du plan a 0,15 secondes comment on pouvais le voir dans le miroir sans voir la camera, puis j'ai compris qu'il avait incrusté a la place de la vitre du miroir un plan vue de face, en effet un detail confirme ma théorie car a 0,17 sur le plan du miroir, candide n'a pas les deux mains sur son masque alors que sur le plan POV il a les deux dessus !! détail que personne ne remarquera appart un con de monteur vidéo comme moi x) bref Edit parfaite sinon déjà 4 fois que je la regarde en 1h
