saying Final Destination 3 doesnt have memorable deaths besides the tanning bed when you have Lewis geting his head crushed by the exercise machine and Erin having her hand nailed to her face is CRAZY. I'd even go as far to say Erin's death might be more impactful because I remember the reaction a couple people had in my theater when they saw her face still moving at the end lmfao

Also they aren't literally in coffins. They are in figurative coffins. This is even more clear when the next scene shows them in their literal coffins, side by side for the funeral and those coffins are coffins rather than tanning beds. Words mean things.

Curse of Chucky was impressive as a sequel and a shift in tone from previous sequels. Ghost Ship had several memorable scenes, not just the opening. One of the scenes that sticks with me the most is when some of the characters are eating and their food transforms into maggots. I think Anaconda gets wayyy too much grief. People attack its campiness and cheesiness. But those are pillars of the movie's foundation. It's not meant to be taken seriously, even as a creature feature. It's a thriller comedy romp. The cast makes that clear on it's own, actors who have been mostly in action and comedy. It's Deep Blue Sea syndrome. People taking it more seriously than it was ever intended to be. Sadly, unlike Deep Blue Sea, people are taking much longer to come around on Anaconda, but I do love seeing it mentioned more. Now you want a serious snake movie. Silent Predators. it's the made for TV vibe, but is so more solid and believable than it's fantastical cousin Anaconda.

Wait, you say "Curse of Chucky wasn't that great" but you have it on a list titled "45 horror movies that had no right to be this good" at number 14? 🤔🤔

Ummmm Friday the 13th X probably has the best sleeping bag kill in the franchise despite being an homage to the one in VII. Edit: Should have waited before posting this haha.

In Hostel 2, I remember Beth cutting off Stuart's lil Stuart to get her freedom, so in this movie and some of the others there are more and better kills. Please do you even watch the movies you write about?

I don't think New Blood gets credit it deserves I liked most the side characters, a good queen B character and a good climax with up until the dad resurrection. However all the kills got several hacked because uptight mom's complaining children could see this and you can't have that in a horror movie.

In regard to #2, it's mentioned later in the movie that both girls are under 18, meaning that at least in universe, in character, this death scene also features underage nudity.

The ice skating death scene in Omen II was way more memorable and terrifying than the Raven. They're both well done in a mediocre movie.

What is this guy talking about? Jamie Lee Curtis scream isn’t iconic at all. Her mother’s maybe. But her scream in Halloween sounded more like a cat outside waiting to be let in! Be so for real💀

Freddy vs Jason: Big boobs. I'm joking. There's a lot of amazing scenes in that movie. Enough said.

You’ve picked the Friday 13th renowned for being the worst scene ever and not being true to the films theme.

I thought of ”Ghost Ship” when I saw the headline. I’ve seen three or four of the others, but don’t remember anything of them, not even those ”amazing” scenes. Really bad movies.

That basketball story sounds like a made up story. I have no doubt she actually made it, but on the very last try, I doubt that.

No, it is true. Multiple witnesses including Sigourney herself. Of course it’s the last try, if she nailed it - why would they do it again? The movie stinks though.

Uh... of course she would make it on the last try. Do you keep shooting more scenes of it when you've successfully shot the scene?

What the guy meant was, surely it wasn't straight after the director said 'last try, then cgi'.
