The one thing about mike that everybody overlooks besides his game - is his charisma. I think it s what really seperates him on and off the court from todays players- he had a personality - a quick wit and a quick mind. He made you want to watch him at all times on and off the court. Players today are amazing athletes- but theyre so boring- just like a bunch of robots who run and dunk- they dont talk or laugh or say anything interesting like the Jordan's, Miller's Barkleys, etc.
Nothing against monica, but Michael Jordan has worldwide fame. There was a total media frenzy worldwide when he came back, I don't even remember any news coverage about Monica and barely remember her playing tennis(though I'm not a huge fan of the sport) plus basketball is bigger in the U.S. than Tennis.
Monica Seles should have won here. No other atlethe almost got killed on court. Coming back from that is in my opinion one of the greatest achievements ever in sports history.
