WEMP started on 1340 AM moved to 1250 AM.....was on FM at 99.1....now in Two Rivers at 98.9 FM.
Some of these old Braves’ promos were on the shelf gathering dust when I worked at WEMP 1974-75.
Did you work with a station engineer by the name of Jerry Clouser?
On WTMJ at the same time. I wonder if WEMP's their post game programming was different? Earl worked at WEMP, and Miller Brewing wanted him to be the voice of the Braves. WTMJ, has a far better signal, so they compromised, and added Blaine Walsh.
