love the video on how to run dual batteries! I recently upgraded my lipos from 20c up to 100c and now running the 6s 100c pack was getting the connectors and wires so hot that the connectors would actually fuse together and it melts the solder on the connectors so a friend suggested i run two 3s packs instead of one 6s pack and I been pondering how to wire them and now I know. thank-you from

Love the channel! An easier solution is to create a single y connector adapter; you can then move it from car to car as desired without modifying the chassis

when you place multiple batteries for an r/c car, does the battery C rating has to match? example if I used a 2S lipo 25C plus a 4s lipo 50C rating to have 6S lipo is that ok?
or would both batteries have to have 50 c rating?

I was thinking of running bullet connectors after realizing how much needs to be done on each wire from the esc and then how ever many batteries makes it questionable if its worth it now to run 8s starting from a 6s car.

Hey just received a new spektrum motor an esc 6s. An its wired up just how yours are. But when I went to plug it in it made a big pop. Esc is fine an works on one 3s but when I plug the other battery in it makes a big pop an spark

Im running two 7600mah 75c 3s on max8. One battery got depleted damn near all the way when the low voltage cut off kicked in. What am I doing wrong?

Late reply I'm sorry, but parallel will give you a longer run time. Which obviously makes series run faster.

How bout a dual battery set up for switching batteries when one dies...maybe incorporate with rc control module to switch batteries on an auxiliary channel and/or RF relay switch...or maybe you have better choice in components.
I did this same process but my esc just flashes green continuously with no beeping sounds and motor isn't working just servo HELP!!

i thought i heard on this video you do solder tips? i was a solder for 7yrs but i just tried to solder some connectors but they would not solder to together i even had it at a high heat i just dont know what i was doing wrong you guys who solder on connectors make so easy me it takes hours and still fail get soldered

vxl can only do 3s so it wont work as 2 2s is like a 4s

What about running two different batteries but their both 3s.

What happens when you wire them in parallel, do they act like one big capacity 2 cell? Or would something burn up.
Nate 07 it doubles the capisity and makes it run longer. Ex: 5,000mah in parallel is 10,000mah

Eventually will, you can run a higher voltage for a little while but that's about it. notice he does checked the engine temperature Annette 58 Celsius that was pretty cool for running 6s but I'm not sure if that truck he has run 6s normally., but I'm not exactly sure how all that works. I just know that if it's built to handle only 11 volts.and forcing more volts to something other than its capacity and tends to fry things. I would like to run 2 four s's in my e Revo 2.0 just to see what would happen but I'm afraid to blow a motor or ECS because of cost to replace LOL so I'm cool right now with the S3. Dual setup.

@@nik0las1 The video is about how to make two 3s lipos into one 6s lipo. This is correct. This is how the cells inside the batteries are connected.
Make a little "Y cable" instead so you don't have to cut into your ESC... Then you can switch back and forth as you please.
The point is to have less conectors the more the more the resistance and more problems.
@@isaacmack1316 Switch to XT90 if you are worried about resistance from the plug, then shorten and faten the wires until resistance is minimized.
@@rchopup2639 you can minimize resistance with any plug. But having more things connected to another just adds more resistance vs a two way street now ur getting 3 by adding in a nother conector to make a connection you need to connect too . Lol 😆

@@ronitsood3651 No it wouldn't. It would be a 6s 2200mah. Series doesn't do anything to the capacity, it just increases the voltage. Parallel doubles the capacity and increases the discharge rate.

Yeah that's the point bruh. He wants to make two 3s lipos into one 6s lipo. He explains it in the beginning of the video. This is exactly how the cells are connected in the batteries for more power.

I wouldn't try because if LiPo cells are imbalanced they explode.
Like if the ratio is for example 2cell:3cell it is imbalanced.
