I just can't understand the way i feel about Akatsuki. He doesn't have a flashy personality,nor does he have a clear backstory,but i feel that the sheer force of his shoto gameplay says a lot about him,and i feel so good hearing this guy shouting "chesto"....

i emulated this game out of curiosity for the series. after 30 minutes of playing, i was smiling and i felt like i legit wanted to know the lore.
So this is my favorite fighting game character, right in front of Johnny cage (mk9 version), god this man gets me pumped up to play the legendary games he came from and in his guest roles, anywhere and everywhere he's featured makes me happy to no end and I hope to truly master what he has and truly bring the power to "CHESTO!!!!"

I'm pretty sure his fighting style is just:

Which he presents really really hard
The karate shown off in his sprites is super impressive as well, his Infinite Worth being him performing a lightning fast straight punch being one of the sickest karate moves in any fighting game
yeah, especially his 5AA and the parry guard. considering his time period and doctrine it's definitely make sense
The one thing I'm sure of about his appearance of origin is that the story is about cloning.

I have to confess,i bought Under night in birth:EXE Late when i noticed that akatsuki was in,but he has like a,well not sure,i mean he could have more moves or something and his air grab only works like a defense,so you can only start a combo with it,anyways he can deal great damage and i like him as a character,no matter what i will still using him even if my combos are pathetic or i can't reach round 30 in survival
His air grab lets you switch sides and get a hard knockdown in combos.

I like his Tile Breaker move, the one where he dives hard into the ground fist-first.
