Hi Jessica.... I too am a recovering addict. I have been sober for 23 years and counting. I have been dabbling with tumblers and molds for about 2 years but I put crafting on hold for the last year due to personnel issues during which time my mom passed as well. I was going to quit but my mom told me before she passed I was talented and not to be scared to pursue my dreams like she was. I have to tell you a little about my mother. She was an artist to her soul. She could have been a Sheff, she sang like and angel, she was an oil painter as an Impressionist I believe is what they are called, she crocheted like nobodies business and the list goes on. Ill just say this " everything she touched turned to gold so to speak" BUT she never put herself out there. I believe that was her biggest regret. So even though I'm 54 and scared to put myself out there like just she was. You are going to be seeing me on CZcams here shortly. I agree. I wonder sometimes why my brain does not go to those creative places. However I saw a beautiful resin western tray once and thought wow would be a great tumbler and coaster set. So I had a severe neck injury and after the procedure to help the pain i am going to jump into that. I do have a Journal I use for ideas and writing down the steps to make them. It really comes in handy since sometimes I can't remember what I ate for breakfast. Hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
