I've been riding with my sled just like that. It corners flat. Love it! Paying attention to details helps immensely! Just like setting up our circle track car. Squaring up the track to ski alignment is critical. My dealer had mine way off.
Hey did you Here about the Fatality on Flat rock road Saturday night? Me and my buddy were heading to the Flat rock when we came up to the scene,we had to help pull the guy out from underneath his new assault it was horrible I think he passed before we got him out of the ditch, I think everyone drinking or riding above there skill level should go to a scene like this truly horrible.. Hopefully I never have to see that again 😔😔
It is so hard to get the cornering just right. I don't know much about these new sleds geometry, but back in the day I used to love letting the ass end hang out a bit like dirt track racing, steering with the throttle so to speak. I never hear you guys on the throttle in the turns. The only thing I can think of is you use way to many studs driving the sled to straight for fast trail riding in corners. Remember it's a trail not glare ice. IMHO ✌
On my Vr1 boost I gave the front springs 1" preload, gave the front track spring it's max preload, and big Boi springs on high, I put the limiter strap on the looser hole and tightened up the rear scissor stops. Works a mile better than stock setup but it's gonna get hygear dual rate springs and a shock revalve for next season
I had the same issue with my wifes VR1. It was very noticeable when I hopped off my XCR and jumped on the VR1 that it didn't feel at all the same. It was tippy. I just traded the VR1 and got a second XCR for my wife. Very happy now. I hope polaris offers a boost with the 2" velocity. I definitely feel they are a much better shock for the additional money. Will this work for an assault and how do you take the tension off the strap to take it off and put back on.

I did a whole Hole last year in the limiter strap but it seemed like it made my sled very unpredictable and darty on the long straights, like if I caught an edge it would flip me right over....
What do you mean exactly by resetting preload on front track shock? I understand turning it out and back in 1/8th but not following how that’s a reset?
Definitely need to give this a try. Have the same minor issue with inside ski lift .
I haven’t touched a thing on my 128 xcr I ride it on the river twists and turns everywhere, I haven’t really noticed any ski lift but I have experienced the backend washing out, any suggestions to that other than slow down lol
whats your opinion on those C&A vs a gripper for trail riding?
I wonder if u will notice the difference in the whoops? U are losing a certain amount of travel, it’s under 10% but still makes me curious. I’ve always done everything else but couldn’t bring myself to lose travel.
