It's crazy to think I have not seen Kraftwerk since 2016 at Movement Festival in Detroit... But with COVID cancelling the 2020 tour and then missing the 2022 tour due to conflicting schedules, here we are. Kraftwerk, as always, puts on an amazing show with fantastic sound. It is so damn crisp. Only other places I can think of having just unreal sound are some techno clubs I've been to or Riot Fest's sound. I have to only assume that these two dates (randomly) in Ohio have to be some warm up dates to the real thing with their Los Angeles residency at Walt Disney Theater in a few days time. Just to make sure everything was dialed in.
I had not looked at the setlist prior to this show. But I assumed that it would be mostly the same from what I had seen in the last 20 years or so. I got there relatively early in order to get a great spot for the show to record from and was able to pull a nice spot at the rail of the elevated section of the floor! I ran right past the merch booth as I assumed they would have the normal stuff there. But saw they were selling venue specific posters and some signed! But I knew I had to pass in order to get a good spot. Hoping they would be left after the show. Doors were at 7 so I assumed they would start at 8. But they did not go on until 830. I was very excited to hear them play Radioactivity in full! So I have been lucky to see over half of the albums performed. Visuals were stunning as always and I feel that from even the last time that I saw them they have been upscaled to better screens/resolution. Although I put 'Tour de France 2003' as the track, it's their huge medley of Stage 1/2/3, Chrono etc that they usually play. I wasn't going to track it out separately.
The recording is fantastic. I am super pleased with how this came out and it honestly could be my best Schoeps tape to date. Besides a few 'woos' from the guy to my left, I can say this was a flawless tape. The video also came out well, which you can see at the link. Right after the set, I bolted to the merch table and to my surprise, they had a lot of posters still! I guess the $100 price tag was a bit much. But Kraftwerk has never sold posters for specific dates, so I needed it. I am looking forward to getting it framed. All in all, it was a great trip down to Columbus and one of the very rare shows I have been able to catch this year. - Hudba

Not all heroes wear capes. I was just doing this. Now I don't have to.
@@ryanj65Lol :)
Thank you Ryan I went to Newport, KY shoes day before. Great work by you.
Thanks so much for this. I was there. First Kraftwerk show for me. Best concert of my life!
Me too. Well worth the 4 year delay.
What! A! Setlist!!!!! Never heard so many songs from the album "radioaktivität" in the last decades in one show. Ohm sweet ohm🤩🤩🤩🤩. And it sounds so fresh, clear and updated, can't await the concert in front of schloss schönbrunn in vienna, the first time together with my sons. What a band, todyay's music would be another without kraftwerk, the pioneers of electronic music, thanks for uploading! And sorry for my english😅
I was here. Freaking unreal. Never thought I'd see them live
This sounds so good! Thank you for doing such a good job at capturing this.
You’re welcome!
My first official kraftwerk concert was phenomenal and furthermore every song was amazing and I am definitely interested in seeing them again
55 year of music .....congrats for still going strong. The one remaining founding member is almost 80 .... wow .. still remember when they became mainstream in the 80s
Just came from Walt Disney Concert Hall (downtown Los Angeles) - the Autobahn show - a completely brilliant show - they played a handful of tracks from other albums (which was awesome), including TEE. I live across the street from the venue and have been jonesing from the moment I left. Thank you so much for capturing (and posting) this!!!
I went to this show! Such an incredible experience. “Radioactivity” gave me chills.
Never ever thought I would see Kraftwerk, my Dad played them all the time when I was a kid in the early 70's.
Foi quando os conheci, sou de 1968 e também era criança na década de 70 !!
Me apaixonei ❤
Creio que sempre fui Cyber 😂
Kraftwerk o " 🎹👑 Rei da música eletrônica ❤ "
Abraços 🇧🇷
Thank you. First heard them in early 80's when kids were break dancing to Numbers at a middle school talent show. Been waiting to see them ever since.
This was my first Kraftwerk show and I had a blast. I got front row too!
Wow great quality recording thanks man. Their sound has evolved a little bit since the show I saw 6 or so years so. Keeps it interesting!
Antenna sounds so good.Electric Cafe sounds funkier here..
Electric Cafe was a highlight of the show. Really brought that song to life!
Amazing. Thx for sharing
Great recording, yes Ralf is the only one left (R.I.P. Florian) and all these songs were made late 70's to 80's (Hütter, Bartos, Flür, Schnieder etc.) but the music stands the test of time and continues to evolve.
great quality recording! thanks
Still a brilliant show they put on, it doesn't disappoint. Excellent recording too, both your video and the audio. Thank you so much for sharing this gem with us! ^_^
I was there. This is a superb job. Thank you for this recording!
Absolute excellent version of Antenna! Top !🎹🇮🇹🎹
Kraftwerk is one of those groups that transcends age, language, cultural, and gender barriers. Their music can appeal to pretty much anyone.
Big ups for the high quality upload 👍🏼
I was just a 3rd grader in elementary school when 'Autobahn' was a hit. For years I thought the lyrics made it a Beach Boys song. I realized much later on that they are singing in GERMAN. I've heard this classic used as bkgd music for radio ads later on. I learned later Kraftwerk work as time went on and at the R'n'R HOF Museum in Cleveland I FINALLY put 2-and-2 together. just to think, Billboard this song got as high as #24 but it CHANGED THE WORLD. This band, like Roxy Music, Bowie, Slade, Ramones, Prince, etc. invented and influenced my Gen X in so many ways. And where are the 'Hit Parade's/Toppermost of the Poppermost'' Scheisse acts of that period like Capt. and Tenille, KC and the Sunshine Band, 'Disco Duck' (SUCKS!), and all of those milquetoast soulless 'adult contemporary 'acts that clogged AM radio at the time? GONE! OK, some of them still 'exist' with ONE original or 'classic' member left, stealing tour money and playing their 40 - 50 year + crap (didya hear that, Greedy Eagles???!!!).
This is like a full circle for me. This may very well be the BEST show I have ever been to, and I've been to a LOT of 'em, many big-name acts.
I loved every single minute of this show. Just like that total solar eclipse I witnessed and saw last month; this is one exciting event that I will never forget. I will cherish this FOREVER! VIELENDANK for putting this online. You did an excellent job showing the close-ups of the four genius badass German rock'n'roll dudes. Again, VIELENDANK. DANKE SCHOEN. 🥰😍😃😄😇
Thanks for uploading this! I was there but it'll be nice to relive it!
I don't suppose you were the guy sitting upstairs in the bleachers next to the blonde lady?
@@SF-hg9lx No, I was standing on the balcony.
@fidwell ah, well, thanks anyway!
I really like the new Aggressive version of Radioactivity, just telling It like it is...

And then they go Way, Way Back into the Catalogue, I Love It!!!
klasyka!!!
There are two bands that I will play with no shame of how loud I am playing It At Any particular Time of Day, Kraftwerk and The Art of Noise. Camouflage is a band worth mentioning Also...
Superb video, thanks for sharing! With what did you record this?
It is in the description!
Thanks a lot
But can you dispute the CZcams copyright blocking as the video is blocked outside us
No. That would probably deem a copyright strike and it's not worth it.

Computer World...
Can Kraftwerk come to a small city in North Carolina named Franklin, 🤔 Ummmmm , possibly?!
the screen is pretty off time most of the time
I would consider these two shows prior to the LA residency as dress rehearsals. So they were getting all the cobwebs out.
quite sad
